For a blackberry it is a very good model except the camera has no auto focus! Nothing can come close to the iphone 4S because it has such innovation. Blackberry has it's own power phones as do android and it also about person preference

all you have to do is turn the screen brightness all the way down and put the network mode on "2G" and the battery will last a lot longer

I have finally left my iPhone fad behind and gone for the BB4 (over the iPhone4S).
No sense in paying more for a phone that delivers nothing extraordinary except for the aura of owing one.
Look at it like this, I can still transfer all my iTunes music and make them as ringtone (have to buy ringtones for iPhone), can connect my BB4 to my car stereo via bluetooth rather than spend money to get iPhone.iPod connectivity and investing in USB cables.
BB4 - as fast as the 4S, sexier looking, excellent to type long messages and faster, even the insurance does not cost as much.
Best, if anything goes wrong with the hone, I do not have to make appointments to get it checked at a apple store.

hey guys so i own a blackberry 9900 nd i was wondering if there was any way that u could type on the screen instead of using the keyboard ( a bit like with the iPhone like a keyboard that you touch ) ??

i have bought the new blackberry 9900, there is sum problem with my handset, all of a sudden at times, the earpiece and mouth piece doesnt work and i have to reboot the phone....this problem sucks...

I ADOREEEE MY BLACKBERRY 9900. Had 5 iphones and everything on the blackberry is a million times better than the usage on the 4. only critisism is no auto focus or reverse cam but all in all. I LOVE MY BLACKBERYYYYY.

Well i think this phone is much better for me to buy for my 2nd number...i looks great and its performance is superb...i already bought Android fon for my main number...and BB would hit the spot for my 2nd number...to me its much more convenience than IPHONE Scrap...

Brad, 08 Oct 2011Hi All Iive in South Africa And I Am Thinking About Purchas... moreif compare 9780 bold with 9900 theres hardly anything that amazing. yes in comparison 9900 has touch,improved speed,its good but battery dies twice daily... and the software is just the same, bbm is the same as update thru the website for all available,bbm feels so old,the blackberry is so old types, browsing is without flash support so crappy, currently the best in the market which is UNBEATABLE superduperfastest highest quality specs, beats audio!! once have it & iphone is just nothing in front of it, i bet HTC sensation XL is gonna rule till the iphone 5 arrives, so get HTC sensation XL if dont believe me go see for yourself then buy.

Brad, 08 Oct 2011Hi All Iive in South Africa And I Am Thinking About Purchas... morehi as u already have a older bb pls dont buy 9900 as yes battery totally is bad,camera is cheap quality, hve to charge twice daily, u need to surf, youtube u can get so many other super phones at this price. bb9900 is overpriced doesnt have flash support n has same thing as ur old bb. even u can update ur old bbm through the blackberry site and other stuff so pls get new touch phones which are extremely high on specs which have mindblowing screen display high battery life super sound hi def video playback so much fast awesome apps, just go wid other new high spec phone

Really nice phone from the best i ever have but really big problem with the battery. i can get throw a day with out charging it.

Much better than the ip4 and better battery life too.I get two days on a sigle charge.Make sure and cycle the charging

People that slate off BB Bold on the BB forum is because they feel insecure! Before you ask I have both BB Bold and IP and it's a matter of what you really use your phone for! It's just like trying to compare a BMW M3 and a Range Rover....different cars different usage!
