Has this device for over two months now and it is awesome, the best Blackberry i ever had, and i have had many. from the 8520 to the 9300 to the 9700 to 9780 to the 9800, 9810, 9860 to this and it off the chain. Good Job RIM. keep them coming!!!!!!!!

This is a great phone and the only negative point of this phone is the battery. The Battery isn't bad but not as good as the 9700/9780, I wish the phone can last me 3 days. The Call Quality is the best I ever heard on a mobile phone, just as good as using a landline. The OS is very fast and fluid and the screen is very good. The Trackpad doesn't feel/work as good as the previous Bold. Also previous Bold owners might have to think carefully before purchasing this due to the downgraded battery. In some ways I missed my 9700 as its more comfortable using single handed and the battery Trackpad as I am not a fan of touchscreens. Hopefully they release a extended battery for the 9900.

omg..this is the third times i want to clarify here,
i am a moderate user and after a long day of 18 hours outside, my battery still have ~30% left at midnight..
Those who have added me in BBM (as i provided my PIN in this forum before) earlier even received the screen capture (printscreen) i sent to them,,typically my batt is at 79% at 1pm ++
pls...pls... stop spreading rumor about the battery.. :S

Great phone .I have it now for a week and much prefer it to the ip4.It also looks and feel better than the ip.It has a good battery life as I can get 2 days of it and the keyboard is sublime.great jom 3

Worst Battery life hangs it when u recieve 2nd call while talking on phone. total switch off or restat option not available u have to remove battery and restart it when phone is hanged it hangs daily.
no proper voice clearity if crosed hands slightly downwoards

i recommend android guys use it to and you wont use any other operating system am huge fan of HTC ..Value For Money ..

I have 9900 for a week now and this is first BB I like. Small but great screen and the best keyboard ever. Only my concern is it's call quality. Too much hissing and clippings as background noise to the other side. Is it unit specific problem?

too costly...samsung pro is ahead. Trackbal and quatery feature fast processor and Ram. Invest money on android its amazing

the screen is clear in bright sun.
lowering the brightness level & changing frm 3g to 2g network does improve battery life.
but actually a superb phone all round

I just got my BB 9900 last week and as expected, batte... moreIn response to your comments...i understand that usually battery life starts to get better once drained down 3-5 cycles however...my battery not only starts to deplete quickly now and doesn't charge to 100% despite charging overnight! It still flashes amber in charging state and I also switch the phone off as the clock comes on saving the screen! When switched back on it either misses a day or two on the clock and today it skipped 36 hours ahead! Now surely that is a bug on the system! Now, I guess none of you believe me and think "Oh another troller"....try it yourself! I wish I never got round to selling my 9700! I mean it!

The phone is better, but the Nokia E6 is much better than BB Bold 9900.
