2 years have run the 8900 for business use, love it. Mostly Email and BBM, and Excel full. No games or FB etc use. Thinking of the 9900 but batt life is important. 8900 lasts almost two days. Does anyone know how the two would compare?

Battery doesn't last a day. 3 calls and 2sms's. Data & Wifi Off. In Holster.

Got the phone 2 weeks ago, amazing phone except the battery, it wont last 20 hours with WIFI and BT turned off. what a shame...

i have just got the 9900 and im quite worried because it gets really really hot while im using multiple programes like facebook and bbm, is this common?

Awesome phone ! Using it from the past 2 and a half weeks. Tremendous performance. Yeah battery's not up to the mark, you'll need to charge it almost everyday. Otherwise, it's the best phone you'll get in the market today. Or you can keep on waiting for iPhone 5's launch.

I have been using this phone for 2weeks now and all I can say is- the phone is quite xpensive but its definitely beta than any other phone in d market. Anyone who wants a longer battery life shold get an extra battery and/or a car charger. If u want a better camera, buy a digital camera.

Just ordered my upgrade from 9700 to Bold 9900! I can't wait till Tuesday! I hope that it will live to my expectations as some reviewers states that battery is poor! Despite this I believe that many other features will compensate this!

If ure having complaints on the battery of 9900(bold 4) then pls delete amazon music app & also upgrade to OS 7 version 317. battery life will increase drastically..

And yes the camera doesn't have autofocus it's emfocus or All focus* because of the slim design they sacrificed it. But I could praise the reception or signal of the phone. It is strong but considering the price this Bold is like a toy painted in gold. I mean better wait for a month or two till the value price becomes lower.

Had This Phone for 2 days now. And I had all the models of the Bold since 9000, 9700 and 9780. And this Bold by far has the highest price point. But the improvement was all about the screen you can't notice a pixel or blurred font like the iPhone 4. The software doesn't have bugs and yes it is really fast interface responds very well and the keyboard are the best. The only reason I can't recommend this phone was the battery life, pick a 97xx series or Torch if your a heavy user of facebook and social apps, email or browsing the net. This doesn't last a whole day or even at evening. I was at the mall with 52% of battery and it took just an hour it's dead of using BBM and facebook app, I had to buy a charger since Our conversation was important I was so disppointed. But If you don't mind buy it. Overall it's an improvement while sacrificing the battery.

last charged 6 am yesterday , now its 3 am three more hours with 50 % still to go ,wifi, i have mp3 ringtones , bebuzz runing , msn nd watsapp for the last 3 hours ..., i most admit i was scared from what i read but the battery is not an issue , haters talk shit, but the camera is more like 3.2 mp

BB phones are rip offs, especially with those compulsary BB monthly plan. Compare to any other smart phone, other than push mail, there is really nothing to brag about this phone.

Though I havent used the edit function in my BB 9700 in the last one year, you never know when this would come handy.
