Dear Idiots CEO's at RIM:
Please fire the people who made and designed this device.
For the price tag please give us something with a battery: the battery sucks so mush that it only lasts hardly two days with minimal usage..
9900 should be a premium business device:
its should have amazing battery for covering talk time for business users..
back of the device sucks big time.. i am disappointed... @#$% you RIM

i solved my battery problem.
after u do all the settings, switch off the phone and switch it on again.
make sure after u switch on the phone, u dont change any settings...
this solved my problem.... first day was only 7 hours....
today its been 14 hours with yet 30% battery remaining.

battery is the issue and if u buy anything from app world , then nothing is working on OS 7.i think they still have to develop applications for OS7.

I have been using this phone from last seven days. So far the experience has been good if not great. I would say this is the most advanced blackberry phone as on date and one should buy it if you chose not to look for any handsets beyond blackberries. If you are not that finicky about having a touch-screen, BB9780 is the best option (Price has dropped to INR20k-21k).
PROS
>Really fast processing (Though you can only notice the difference on web browsing)
>Improved RAM (user available RAM is 298mb out of total 768mb), ROM, Storage, Processor, OS
>Best class keyboard (Wide board makes you type fast and smooth)
>Highly responsive liquid graphic touch-screen
Strong reception Antenna (Very few call drop, works at basement and lifts)
>Beautiful front side and really slender (I did not like the back side though)
>Loud speaker (Loudest in BB series)
>BBM 6 is super cool, sync contact, automatic location update, two way gaming
>Near Field Communication (the next thing on file transfer)
>Wifi Hot Spot (Really useful, remember to out the phone on charger while you do so)
>Voice calling is there (re: someone on forum posted as ‘not there’)
CONS
>Definitely do not deserve this much premium over 9780
>Poor Camera (Primary reason for RIM to recall* the handsets)
>Pathetic battery life (lasts barely a day, another reason for RIM to recall*)
>Not one of the best screen displays for Outdoor bright-light use
>No secondary camera (RIM is lagging the consumers’ need)
>Does not support flash (so you miss many websites)
>Do not support all media format (I hope RIM fix this as well when they re-launch*)
>Not many Apps (but the few upgraded application versions for OS7 are really cool)
>Phone reboots installing every application (each restart is for 90 secs, which is irritating)
>Side buttons are difficult to press
>No FM (probably a weak battery would have been even more pathetic with this feature)
I feel, if at all RIM recalls (going by subdued indications by couple of big retailers)* and address the three major issues (price tag, camera and battery) – it’s worth waiting couple of weeks more. Anyway, the QNX platform are expected to be out in last quarter, in case blackberry lovers can hold their breath till then. For others who are open to consider any model depending on their requirements: Apple is holding a product launch event in first week of September; and Samsung is launching a few feature-rich models in next quarter.

two big drawbacks,,
1: poor battery life for a bold... it lasted two days..
with the same usage the old bb9780 lasted 4 days
2: fixed focus camera not very cool
otherwise dam sweet keyboard and over all feel to it... nice res touch screen.... but i am really
mad with the battery..
