I am using this set from Oct2011, this set is really superb but due to bad after sale service given by Khurana Service center Janak Puri Delhi and not proper taking care by Parveen (Head Blackberry Delhi), this was not working well. Later on good service is done by Active Telecom Pitampur Delhi (Recommended by Parveen), this set is working well. Need better after sale service also, any way this set is good.

[deleted post]What a load of simplistic rubbish. You clearly do not understrand these markets, the consumer, the growing middle class, the carriers, and what people actually want. Why get excited at the speed at which you can move a widget, and play games. It that all there is to an Android device. It is only fancy window dressing (no pun intended) with most Android devices on the market having no upgrade path. I want to use a keypad for texting and emails, so it is a BB or nothing. Quality of reception and product finish is superior to other so called market leaders from personal exerience. Frankly not every one wants to waste time running around an Android device.

I really like it I loved it the moment I saw it but a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for am I right? I don't have it yet but want one for Christmas ( I'm 11 ) I love 2 text a lot so this fits the package plus it's touch so that is fitting to my needs plus my Old phone is horrible when talking On it seems echoey and I say 'what' in every sentence when talking to my parents to pick me up so I am really considering this phone!!! :)

i had a 9700 before, i wish blackberry would remove their BIS/BES because here in my area there are a lot of free wifi zones, and to use wifi on bb, you still need BIS for it work... so what the point of putting a wifi feature on the phone right? just a wishful thinking, i would definitely get this if only they would do that...

My bb 9900 mutes at times I.e no ringin no vibration and sound from d ear piece.but starts to work fine only wen d battery is removed and inserted back again .pls my guys wot shld I do.

I just purchased the 9900 .. I should recieve it this week .. Wish me luck guys .. I will post again 1 week later with my experience with using the 9900

The BB9900 is may main device and will use the larger device to reveive pdf's and docs, and it does take ggod photos, but I am always using the BB as I travel all the time. One thing is the BB has far superior reception and people always complain the voice sound from the Note is "tinny". Overall if you text a lot and are on the go, get the BB9900. I have never had an issue with it and dont know what all the rubbish reports are about. I have the latest software on it, got rid of the social network rubbish, turn off location enable, have the screen turned down a bit, and time 20secs. I use the BB9900 usually more than 60 times during the day during the working week, and only charge it once a day. Whats your problem!

best BB i've had it for months, easy to type, fast and bold enough to fit in ur pocket for BBM!

actually ur memory card is not not working because of its back part including vibrator, flash, video camera mic and memory card slot has gone wrong....i have got dis part changed.....as it happened wid me also....and sometimes vibrator also vibrates without any reason....

BB 9900 is the best phone i have ever used. it provides all application i need and the bettery is good enough than many phones like Nokia, Hauwei,sumsung and LG phones

If you want always check the IMEI number of any phone which has xxxxx/00 or 01/xxxxx thats the sign of best production (hopefully not china) but will will be written assembly in china or korea.

In order to maximize the battery usage, several settings need to be adjusted just like the iPhone. Before, i have to charge everyday, once setting is done, it lasted me 3 days.

In developing countries markets are flooded with Blackberries which are very poorly manufactured. You can see loose ends, scratches, faulty placements of parts. Surprisingly expensive sets like BB 9900 which cost about USD 600 and BB 9860 about USD 500 are not spared. I was on hunt for a perfect piece of BB 9900 for days and must have checked atleast 30 pieces with most prestigious and highly recommended distributors but could not find a single piece without defect. extra spacious Gaps in keyboards, scratches on body or trackpad, bad product finish etc etc. But I see people dont care about all this. What they need is BB to chat with their friends or relatives. Because chatting is part of peoples lives in developing nation and they cant live without it. Give them BB in whatsovere condition at whatsover price, they will grab it with a smile.

Never use BlackBerry before. This is my first one and I love it. I used to be a BlackBerry hater but now I need it for my daily life (although I am still not the BlackBerry lover)
9900 is just perfect BlackBerry. I know it may be out-of-date someday but I believe that 9900 has still its charisma since BlackBerry 9000. Using 9900 is unforgetable experience.
For anyone who have a little bit more money, go for 9900 instead of 9790. U never regret although other new BlackBerry come out in the future.
