They are not popular like iPhones or Samsungs but that doesn't mean BB is not good. People buy what is popular not what is best for them.

I am using BBM for IM, video call, etc. There are BBM versions for Android and iOS for people who don't own a BlackBerry.
Also if you are a "hardcore business person" you can choose to use BlackBerry Meetings.

2. The fact that your are on BB area and your are talking about WhatsApp, says it all about your age and knowledge is what BlackBerry is, what BlackBerry can do for your business and what are BlackBerry targets.
3. In terms of instant messaging, video call, social media BlackBerry has it's own app, developed by them. The app name is BBM, and the is most powerful, secure, stable, user friendly app of its kind.
If you compare BlackBerry with Android, the last one is a Water Soaker and BlackBerry is something like a quantum physics manual. Few people are able to understand and work with it.
4. I hate apps that requires my phone number and needs access to read my agenda, phone book, call history, etc to work.

blackberry has worse operating system. Every operating system design for optimize their hardware as well as Android and Iphone.Android is the best for business. Most people think this is only for gaming. but those people are not enough mature to understand Gmail, chrome, google map all are from google. they are industry best in the world. blackberry is nowhere.Nobody use BIS nowadays. People use Whatsup, wechat, skype. Now nobody want blackberry that is why 95% believe in Android and Iphone.

I swaped my Android with BlackBerry Classic and I don't have any regrets. Blackberry is a mature company who produces mature phones for mature people and for kids to play Candy Crush and make selfies.
As another user mentioned before, BlackBerry OS is design and optimizied fot BlackBerry hardware and it has no crash, no bug, no lag, no freeze and no data mining.
BlackBerry invented mobile e-mail and since then they are No 1 at this.
BlackBerry Hub gathers all of the messages and notifications that you receive from your different accounts into one convenient location. In the BlackBerry Hub, you can receive and respond to email, text messages, or BBM chats all in the same place, see and respond to notifications from your social networking accounts, glance at your upcoming events, and more. In Android you need 3 or more apps for that.
BIS and BES solution are doing data compression and will save you a lot of MB/month. That is very handy when you are using you BlackBerry in roamning.
But, users like you, who are thinking that smartphone means Samsnung Android, deserve their faith. People like you will continue to live in dark and don't deserve anything new, anything special, anything that can make your life easy.
Saying that BlackBerry is not business is something like CISCO is not for IT&C professionals.

Some people believe blackberry is the only business phone. But they don't know Androids, iPhone and windows mobile are better business options as well as gaming and entertainment. What the business require Email, Browsing, video conferencing. Android, iPhone and windows mobile have a better capability to do these jobs better than a blackberry. Blackberry does not have a good operating system as compare to them. old junk phones nothing new innovation. That is why mostly people don't use Blackberry.

Today, all thoose people like you own Android or Apple, because they belive Samsung is the only phone on the market.
BB is a pure business, corporate phone. A mature phone for mature people, not for kids who are playing Angry Birds and laughing like retards when they crash some candy.

If Classic is to outdated for your demands, you may go for Passport and soon BlavkBerry Oslo will be on.

Blackberry OS is an operating system especially create for their hardware. That means: no lags, no bugs, no crash, no freeze, no bloatware, no data mining.
BB OS also means: security, stability, optimization, performance and BB 10 OS is able to run Android apps.
How can a business person say that he has a lollipop or jelly as his companion, wiyhout blushing?!?!?

I think it is unfortunate that BB went with the exact same processor and camera specs as is in my current galaxy s3 that I got over 2 years ago. I was excited about this phone until I saw that. To get back on top, Blackberry needs to give people something more worthwhile than 3 year outdated processors and cameras. They need something that excites people the way bbm brought people to blackberry in droves.

Android is not only games but for business too. Email tool nothing better than Gmail. Web browsing chrome is no1. Blackberry no where. Slow slugish and crap operating system of blackberry leads it in no future zone.

Classic is no exception to that. It does heat a bit when you are using it to surf the web via mobile data connexion.
Mine is not heating when it's connected via WiFi, only on mobile network data.
I don't know how much does your Z is heating, because I do not own a Z for a comparison.

Can anyone share experience of classic about heating, is there also heating problem? Like z10.
I'm using z10 from last 10 month and its heats up too much compare to any other devices.

Unfortunately I moved to a Samsung S5 because in Australia Blackberry has such little support, and for costs reasons. I can say the Android experience is terrible compared to the Blackberry OS. Ok the hardware is excellent but the Android OS is bloated and unresponsive. If you are big on emails, texting, recording information, viewing docs, simple things like copy and paste, then the BB OS is far superior. The Blackberry hub feature leaves Android for dead. Oh and the web brouser is better in my opinion. Android is good for games and thats about it. I dont use facebook (dangerous) or any of that rubbish, or play games. As a business tool there is no doubt the BB is superior. The amount of junk on the Samsung OS is amasing. The Gmail app is just so far behind the BB. I will have to change back to BB later.
