N... moreI fell sad with my bb that I just bought yesterday, wifi can used in public like other phone, can bb can not used with skype, I miss my iphone4 now, my iphone can used vedio call in skype and wifi can used anywhere too........ I hope bb company will find solution for their client....

i am in the uk and i am plann... moreIf u are buying a sim free phone then it doesn't matter from where u buy, u will be able to upgrade to OS6...if u are buying on contract then u will have to wait for ur service provider to release the upgrade...
U can even choose to manually upgrade to OS6...
Eventually all BB Curve 3G's will be upgraded to OS6

N... moreYou r comparing 2 totally different phones....N8 is a mutlmedia device where as BB is more of a business phone with great social network integeration....which phone to buy will depend upon what u use ur phone for.
Regarding the problems with N8,I think these were more with the initial batches...now a days most phones do have some or the other issues but the issues are limited to intial production batches and are fixed in the later batches...

vern, 26 Apr 2011I am having reception problems on my blackberry< is this... moreThis could be due to network issues, if in your area the 3G network is not good or it the network keeps dropping then the phone will keep switching from 3G to 2G and this can affect the reception...try changing the network from dual or 3G to 2G...this may solve the issue if not then it could be a problem with the phone and u may need to take it to the service center...

i am in the uk and i am planning to buy this phone, either from phones 4 u or carphone warehouse, but i dont know wheter either of those shops will do os6. can u please tell if any of those two shops have os6 on this bb curve 9300 in the uk??

I have being truly Nokia face since my first mobile. BB 9300 is a decent mobile with OS 6, but one serious shortcoming of internal memory of 90MB(after installing OS 6). No space left for Apps/Email leaving the phone usable for SMS/Calls.
Seems BB people are not that smart. Haha

well guys i've been using the BB 9300 for a month now. all my life i am using nokia and if u ask which is better E5 or BB, it depends. for me BB is very good because of the Blackberry Messenger in which friends all over the world can talk to you like a yahoo msgr (minus the videocall or webcam) and its really helpful compared to Nokia but u need to be on a data plan
