Affordable phone with most features. The download speed is remarkable. Can watch good quality videos online without constant buffering. The GPS is good, but could use more features.

I LOVE it ! I'd like a higer spec phone but as pay as u go this was a bargin, big up on the 8520,except for the camera ( but I'm a photographer so no phone will please me !) 9300 or an iphone was a tough choice but not having to run a contract won for the BB, and I've tried my mates iPhone, I ve got hearing probs and tinnitus and the BB music player is better by far IMHO.

I've had this phone for 6 months now. It is nice looking, solid, and a great unified messaging device. I set up three e-mail accounts, Facebook and Twitter and got instant notifications when something was going on on any of them. Typing is a pleasure thanks to the legendary Blackberry keyboard. However, I speak English and French and I haven't figured out yet how to type using French characters (accents). Keep that in mind if you use more than one language. The picture quality is crappy. It doesn't bother me, I rarely use the camera. I don't understand why someone would want to take pictures with their phone anyway, unless you catch your best friend's girlfriend making out with some other guy. The feature I'm most unhappy about is browsing. For 1 in 5 webpages I get the message "Insufficient Memory. Page is too large to load." and then the browser closes. It's ridiculous. The exact same page loads without problems on Opera Mini. I don't understand how RIM would miss something like that. The loading times are not great at all. I mostly use my phone to browse, so that for me is a reason to switch. I'm sure that someone who doesn't need to use the camera and browser will be more than satisfied. Oh, one more thing... No one sane person should sign a 3-year contract for this phone. I got it for $250 from Kodoo, no contract, unlocked it for $10 and it's been working like a charm. If you want jailtime with a provider, do it for one of the latest and greatest (like the upcoming Samsung Nexus Prime).

Flash player needs an upgrade" I can't watch videos from youtube , the maps feature doesn't work at all(maybe that's cause I'm in bombay) and besides the server crashing and not being able to use the phone other than its original(obsolete)purpose its pretty decent for about 260$ in india
