after using this handset for a month..i can say..this phone is the best value BlackBerry phone..
OS 6 upgradable..n machine the same as BB Onyx..

Both are christened under curve models. The only difference between them is that Curve 8520 does not support 3G services. While Curve 9300 is custom built for that.

But If You can shell out approx 29000. Then S2 is the best option.
But For BlackBerry: "Its not a Boys Toy phone, Its a Business Man's Saloon".
Black Berry has a Statement to make.
For a good phone under 15000 I would Suggest you go for Black Berry Curve 3G which can be upgraded to OS6.
Now the choice depends on You !.........

So i suggest BB 9300 would be a good buy.
