do you have to set up your bluetooth? cos im unable to connect with other phones..well it finds the phone but wont send or receive.. and how do you set up your emails and internet im with vodacom

whats the difference b/w media cars & micro SD card (whats the best sd card , kingston or scandisk).
Also from which option can i see memory details or change it coz i want all my data to be saved on memory card.

why i can't received bluetooth? i can send but i can't re... moreIf want to receive bluetooth in bb is not friendly user as other phone, u have to set bluetooth turn on, pair the device, go to media (ie music), push bb (7dots) button then select menu received filed from bluetooth, then another device just send the file.
For internet, you have to register gprs to ur provider (sign : gprs text on upright corner ur display is capital text--- this means ur internet is ready), don't forget to register your BB pin and IMEI
My complain about BB : many times hanged ( twice or more per day), the browser is ssoooo slowwww, and not friendly user OS ( much better my sony ericsson)

use the black case . . . it saves your battery life and protects your screen whilst locking the keys also

i got my bb8310 thru mtn. what a hassle i got fromt he phone, within two weeks i had an application error, and it went back for a whole month, came back, i had it for another, apparently, it had been upgraded witht he new software, because the old one wouldnt work.
had it for a week, plugged it into my laptop, which had the old software loaded. and yeap. another application error.went in for repairs again another month
they have offered me a new one, with no reason, i guess they couldnt fix it or something.
so dont plug it onto a pc , that has the old software, make sure, when you buy it it has the new software, which comes with the video function.
lets hope this one lasts longer.

i personally had to get rid of my blackberry because if i didnt lock it the blackberry would call people without me knowing it. I know none of u want ppl listening to your conversation without you knowing lol!!!

hiya, i have just bought a blackberry curve 8310, i am having some problems sending and receiving via blue tooth....i understand that i have to press "receive using bluetooth" however once i have done this my 4n asks me to choose a folder to save my data in...when i press save...it brings up an error message saying (failed) does anyone have any ideas????

This phone is nice looking, and screams class and style, however be prepared to pay a hefty price for it. I've had my phone for about 4 days and the internet works perfectly as does everything. it's so cute, plus you can buy cases that fit it in all colors and materials. It breaks easy though, be careful with it!!!

Just press the send button once as if you want to make a call, then press the menu key then the options, then the general options then set the restrict my identity to no then enjoy your phone.
