The blackberry is a TERRIBLE phone. i would not reccomend it to anyone. it is slow, always has software problems and is not usef friendly. you constantly have to get the phone upgraded. put it this way. i have had my BB replaced 4 times in 5 months. each time i received a new phone they all had the same fault. GOOD luck if you decide to get one.

If you go to your profiles icon, click on advanced down the bottom of the list, then click on your active profile, and you can see all your notification options (SMS/Phone/Messages etc). If you then click on the notfication option you wish to choose, and change the ringtone from within here.

elo, i actually have a blackberry 8310. my problem is that on the screen, up-right corner (under the wording EDGE), there is the letter "1" + the internet icon(small). what does this stand for? and how to remove it!!!

hello friends,
i hv a problem.i hv BB 8310 curve.i installed desktop manager on my pc and tranfers the files to my handset,but its not installing in my set,saying ''this IT policydoesnt allow downloading 3 party applications''
wht i gonna do now..i downloads so many bb softwares but no use untill they gonna install on my handset

Although I have upgraded my bbcurve to 4.5 there still isn’t much you can do with the phone. The one thing that I hate about the bb is the video player. It’s the worse I have ever seen on a phone that can play mp4. All the videos I converted for the nokia n95 will not work on the bb.
I have tried adjusting the video but the sound isn’t synchronized and I try again and the video is tiny.
Any help here please?

enjoying my bb easy to use large font option great battery life every person in my firm is changing to bb what other phone can enlarge the fonts?does the bb bold have the same battery life? /

whoa1ndo, 29 Oct 2008so overnyt my blackberry just turens off anybody know y?Under "Options" you'll see "Auto On/Off" make sure this is disabled

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2008Does this phone support ANSWER tones?yes, it does! answer tones, sms tones, mms tones, calendar tones, etc etc, this smartphone can do anything, I just upgraded to OS 4.5 and i'm really loving my 8310.
