Jim Smith, 20 Aug 2008personally, I would recommend staying away from the blackbe... moredont listen to this guy, clearly an idiot whose idea of 'high computer user'is playing solitaire in the office. i had a htc touch diamond and although it was a nice piece of kit, the touch sensitive annoyed me, working in a phone shop i have access to tge bold, but the battery life isnt great and it has a tendency to crash. I got my curve and love it good battery life, good software, easy to use. its the phone i have been looking for

If only BlackBerry would make their phones 3G enabled with EDGE tech on them then I'd become the biggest BlackBerry lover but without those,no can do!

personally, I would recommend staying away from the blackberry curve all together!
I am a fair high level user of computer and have had pda phone since the very beginning.
Switched from a treo 650 which worked great - synced w outlook no problems and did all the setup myself
Curve has been a a total pain - i have spent hours and hours on the phone w verizon to get the calendar to cync properly. Verizon finally got someone on the phone from RIM and they got it working. there was no chance i could have figured out the settings they gave me. 2 hours plus on the phone w support to get a sync to work
now i just spent 1 1/2 hours on phone w verizon to try and get the curve to pair w blue tooth computer. in the end i got the computer to pair with the head set but not the phone so the verizon tech said i had to call RIM - AT 49 DOLLARS A CALL!
I WISH I HAD MY SIMPLE DEPENDABLE TREO BACK!
my advice is - be prepared to spend some money on tech support w black berry is you buy a curve and again, i am good with computers

bushako, 24 Jul 2008Hi guys, its been about 3days now and i cant decide whether... moreMobile data is always expensive. So i would go for the Blackberry for sure. It is designed for push and be permanently connected the net. Besides the E90 is not so great. However the Curve is smashing!! E-mail personified. Stylish and a nice size. The qwerty keyboard is very comfortable compared the E90. One downside is the Curve has only got edge , but is still very fast, compared the the E90 has HSDPA.

hi, I'm trying to decide between the bb8310 and the samsung tocco. Both very different phones I know but anyway! I've read most of the comments posted and see that ppl wouldnt recommend the bb8310 to non-business users. I want the phone for accessing personal emails, texts, calls, music and organiser. Would this phone still be suitable for me?? I love how it looks and can get it for 199euros with o2 but dont want to if the services I want aren't as good as other phones. Help please? thanks
