8310 has GPS functionality.
8320 has Wi-Fi functionality.

wayney m, 30 Nov 2012It does have bbm but does can u get 3G pls anyoneI couldn't get the 8310 to work on a 3G network. It didn't even recognize the SIM.
It's strictly 2G.

For wi-fi, you have to look at its twin, the 8320. I don't think the 8320 has GPS, though.
Newer Curve models will have both.
