ok since someone asked on the pros n cons of this phone..herez what I think..
BB 8320 is a great combination of biz n social needs with WiFi, camera etc (you know it all).
where it lacks is 3G, GPS and yes one of the most important things to me is software that allows me to make free VOPI calls using WiFi which you can do on a Nokia e61 or Motorola coz they use Symbian and Windows Mobile OS and there are multiple softwares available which work for them but I havnt seen one for BB devices.
cheers

I find it odd this phone, although less looked at then its 88 series counterpart (8820) has more votes and they're negative to boot. Not too long ago, I checked the stats for the 8320 and they were all gearing towards 6-6.1 and they are all beneath the 6 mark. Explanations? All I see within the comments is the lack of 3G, where the 88 series has a lack of camera phone (seriously?).
Granted, some things in PDA phones nowadays must be standard (16M colors, MS Office and/or Mac equivalent compatibility) but it seems to me BB came a long way. I hated BBs before, when they had this rolodex thingy on the side. I stood by Palm for a while. The trackball is really a step up for someone making the transition from touch screen to none. I personnally think the 8320 should get somewhat better grades than that, unless you can tell me what would make it more efficient, as a work tool. Deduct it points for not being able to be hotswapped, to not have SDRAM or a processor to make it fast on its feet when your browsing, but lets not forget the ergonomics: its small and lightweight and fits pretty well inside the palm of one's hand.
Please let me know if I'm missing some other stuff this BBs lacking cause I'm seriously considering getting a new PDA and this one seems to top my list. What else could I get that would be better, honestly? Which must have a camera phone (I'm in design), wi-fi capability, that is lighter and smaller than the treo 650...I mean if the ergonomics werent a key factor, I'd go for a communicator and just call it a day!

I own a Blackberry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile and my sister has an 8310 from ATT and the difference is that the ATT 8310 has GPS with Telenav capabilities, but no Wi-fi while the 8320 has Wi-fi and no GPS. Personally I rather have the Telenav GPS over Wi-fi cause I travel more on foot and in a car more than I sit in a Wi-fi T-mobile spot.

Guys,
I am wondering if there is any software which allows me to make free VOIP calls using BB 8320 WiFi feature.
I have seen many such softwares avaialable on the net (ex Fring: www.fring.com) which support this feature for Symbian/Windows Mobile OS but so far I havnt seen one for BB devices which have WiFi
Any Clue??

I haven't used either, but from the specs, the only real difference is the form of the blackberry, and the 8320 has a camera(the 8820 doesn't). The difference between 8310 and 8320...the 8320 has WIFI...which pretty much makes the 8310 unnecessary. And yeah i think the ratings are too low. I doubt most people that voted actually have used it. Just because it doesn't have 3G, it doesnt make it a horrible phone.
