I have been using this phone from the last 2 years and 2 months now and haven't faced a sibgle problem in my phone so far, I have used it as roughly as I could but haven't seen any problems whatsoever. Suitable for 1st time BB users to get familiar with the OS, Battery is a concern, but you won't have to charge it more than once a day even after 3000 hours of total talktime, which I feel is pretty good.

Ravi, 16 Dec 2011Which is better BB curve 8520 or Nokia E5 ?It depends on what u wanna use it for, U cannot compare a BB with a Nokia phone cos they have diff functionality. So set ur priority rite and knw which one u will go for. Take care

I'm using BB8520, I have a problem that my phone's brightness is not stable it slowdown and then suddenly becomes sharpens, is it fault? or something else?

I'm kinda looking forward to buy this phone... moreWell all I can say is that BB is awesome,this 8520 is just an edge not 3g but since bb service has their own server, push email is awesome bbm and the browser is just fine its fast when connected to wifi! If you compare this to Q9h of motorola damn bb 8520 processor is much faster. Camera is just average! Music player is nice! If your on the go buy the 8520 if your fingers are too big go for bold 9780

Hey guys, really need your input, so recently i went to change the housing of my BB8520, when it was done i went home without test out if it was done well.When i reached home i realized that some keys where harder to press than other and the battery cover was making a squeaking noise. I cleaned the keypad but it didn't get any better. I decide to change the battery cover with the original. This stopped the squeaking. But i did not replace the front plate. the keys are still hard to press,but are working properly(registering). Im wondering whether you guys believe that the housing should be replace or if its a problem with the phones board itself. N.B these problems never occurred with the original housing. Please reply.
