I love my BB8520 - that's why I'm still using it tho other/newer models are available.
1 problem I'm having is that 8520 is not recognising media cards. (this appears to have been the case since loading WhatsApp but I cant be sure).
I have tried 3 new SanDisk 2GB cards which all work elsewhere and phone says in Options, under Memory that "a media card is not presently inserted in the device".
Can anyone help/advise pls.

my 8520 doesn't recognise any (have tried 3)of my SanDisk 2GB media cards. It says - 'media card not inserted in device'. There appears to be nothing wrong with the mc's elsewhere. Can anyone advise what to do?

Suresh, 17 May 2014I cannot connect Wi-Fi how to connect.Hie...I was using the same phone and have the same problem of wifi. The thing is that blackberry manufacturers have made it very much complicated that less techologically handy people may throw the phone on the hed of maker of bb os.
If the phone is showing some pin which is to be entered in modem..then open the admin page of modem(most probably by typing 192.168.1.1 in browser and using admin for both user id and password).
Over there search go wo wireless interference settings and type the password where ever u see pin is mentioned).
After that wifi will be connected.
If any how u r connected to wifi go to settings>advance options.browser and put otspot browser as default.
Come in now u can use wifi flawlessly ;-)
