It is possible to use Ur BB as an external modem for internet browsing. For enjoying this feature U will have to download the "BB Desktop" application, which is available in the "BB Website" or follow the below link http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

My has that feature, so all I do is open Desktop Manager, either the 6.0 or 5.0 versions, and select IP Modem (in 5.0) or go to Tools and then Modem or something like that (in 6.0). That's it. If your plan doesn't allow tethering you will be charged extra, or if you have an unlimited data plan that doesn't support tethering, buy the app Tether for Blackberry.

As of the first day I received my new BB Curve 8520, I have been extremely excited about it, as well as all of the features it offers.
I will continue to get use to all of the specifications and get totally familiar with all of the coolness it brings...

Aside from the fact that you are constantly updating the apps - its the best thing I've owned, just waiting for the Torch. That one will be the best :)

I have the 8530 as well and everything is great on it but it freezes up a lot and. I've had 3 of them in 3 months cause one just stopped working in the first week of having it and the 2nd one the track pad just stopped. I'm not real impressed but if they wouldn't break of me. Maybe I wouldn't want a different phone already.

Can anyone please tell me if one can can create groups which can later be used to forward messages (smses)by selecting 1 or multiple groups. Also let me know how many contacts can be added to one group and how many such groups can be created.
