Anuj, 19 Jul 2010Hi readers... I bought this 8520 on thursday 15 july and it... moreThe software has gotten corrupted....just take it to the BB service centre they will re run the S/W and it will be fine. Should not cost you anything as this is in warranty period. Also NEVER disconnect the device from the PC if some update or process is going on between the two connected by USB cable or bluetooth and desktop manager in middle of some process. That always screws the S/W as an additional security measure...

Dot, 17 Jul 2010I have just got one of these.. Can someone please tell me h... moreOpen the desktop manager, go for syncing options, set priorities by checking/unchecking boxes like contacts only or contacts , calender, mails etc. It will automatically ask the source so please provide whether it is your microsoft outlook or outlook express(for Windows I dont know about mac) and sync the phone. All the contacts in yor outlook will come to the phone....If the question is how to get contacts in outlook at he first place...use your existing phones pc suite or desktop manager to transfer the contacts from your phone to outlook first...hope this helps

Omkar, 17 Jul 2010Sushi.. Everything works.. The bluetooth is compatible with... moreIt works but is damn complicated. First you need to pair then for actual tranfer first you need to listen and then go to media menu and click ..recieve by bluetooth...simlarly I never used wi fi on this as first you have to fed the code generated by the device into your wi fi router and then the router key in the device , to be repeated for any other connection...I do understand they are security measures one of the pillars of the whole BB concepy how ever for BIS users at least they need to simplify things like Symbian/Android or even Winmo...Damn complicated and so so internet performance. Again this thing only streams on WAP...additional expenditure in most of the BIS plans even the unlimited varieties at least in India...Agreed these devices are good for real time messaging and has a good Facebook client but I am afraid that is where BB ends...

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2010Does this phone have a good build quality? I'm not so sure ... moredude,it is human nature to ask such thing like that if u feel like what u have expressed in ur writing..so,i u/stand..if i dont own this great device also sure i have that kind of thought..

but dude, one thing i want u to bare in ur mind is,this is BlackBerry..it aint cheap bro although it looks like 'cheap'..u must be feel like that bcoz of it plastic built right?? no worries man..trust me this is a great device to use..dont look at the plastic built..but look at it specs..yes,i agree the specs doesnt look 'too promising' like other high-end product coz this device is actually a entry level of BB..but still it has lot to offer u..
