I hv been using blackberry curve 8520 for 5 months and I felt it's one of the best phone I hv used ever.
Once u'll get the habit of using it I m sure u gonna miss ur bb when u'll use any other fone.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2010only comes in Black. See features.You can't get all your info from only one site, especially when the site doesn't have all the info of each and every device. For example, the 8520 is available in black, grey/silver, lavander, purple, red and white. And the 8530 has similar colors. Also, there was a comparison put on here in another post (not sure if it was you or not) but the specs between this and the 9700 should be almost exactly the same. The main features missing from the 8520 are 3G, 3.15MPX camera with autofocus and image stabilization, GPS and the screen res. Everything else, (multimedia codecs, document viewer/editor, maps, and services) are exactly the same. Why? Because they are both BlackBerry phones and all of them are the same except for a few minor differences. I do agree that the 9700 is a "higher quality" model, but essentially they are the same.

i have the 8520 and prior to this had the iphone, although the iphone is full of all these special mods&apps i prefer my blackberry.so much more practical,easy to use&love the keyboard=) its been 1 year and about 4million accidental crashes to the floor but you know they say once you go black u never go back ;)

I'm still confused whether to buy the 8520 or just g... more9700 is better... 8520 has about 3 advantages compared to 9700.

iceman, 08 Jul 2010I broke mine in half and its not even a flip phone or a sli... moretake it back to the place you purchased it from or enquire with blackberry them selfs.
But if u have/had insurance then life would have been / will be betta.

If you are looking at price the the BB 8520 is cheaper.But I am not to sure what you look 4 in a phone b4 purchasing it but these are the specifications I look at when I purchase a c/phone.
