My mom accidentally deleted the contacts folder, is there a way on how to make a new contact folder? To view my contacts, I have to go to search first. Please help

Hi JRF, from the posts about this phone, you seem to be one of the most experienced one can rely on.
I just got this phone for my wife yesterday and had the contacts from her former phone moved to this new one (BB 8520) only to realise that when she tries to call a contact on her phone, the number is prefixed by +86 and it doesn't connect.
Honestly, I'm at a loss as to what the problem might be 'cos mine never came me any problems. Please, I'll appreciate it if you have an idea as to how I can overcome this problem. Thanks

intheknow, 18 May 2010your very badly miss informed, the 8520 is 3g (3rd generati... moreYou're misinformed as well. 3G means it has higher internet speeds, and some phones can do video calls. 2G is EDGE which is a lower speed for internet, but can still be used for it. EDGE on this device is pretty fast for mobile sites, emails, chats, and other stuff. For larger sites, there are Bolt and Opera Mini browsers that help keep things fast.

I think its a cool phone for the price and what it can do...end of may will be 7 months since i bought mine, no problems to date.

Badddd. At first when I got my phone I was really pumped and it worked for the first 3 months, so I couldn't complain. Camera could've been better but that was listed in specs, so I knew what I was getting. 3 months later, I have a pressure crack. No idea how the hell it got there honestly. 2 days later, my phone starts acting up. When I'm in a phone conversation, during parts of the conversation, the phone would blank out and I wouldn't be able to hear or speak for about 2 minutes and this would happen continuously. BAAADDDD

Anonymous, 18 May 2010some one tell me honestly for curve 8520 good or bad plzif you don't want 3g , you can buy it . it has a trackpad and thats great . But DON'T buy a blackberry with a trackball . It stuck sometimes . You can buy it . I prefer you to buy the blackberry bold 9700 . But you can buy the 8520 . (it doesn't have 3g)

dude,u know nothing about BB so better shut up will ya! what a stupid n lame comment made by stupid dog!..u never use this device n yet dare to said such things! get a life dude..although this device doesnt come with 3G (only 2.75G = EDGE),but the performance is more damn awesome than ur stupid E63 (ive been using E63 b4)..n also more superb than any other nokia..

Gabriel Nojodipo, 18 May 2010I think both blackberry 8520 and 8900 sucks , 8520 is not 3... moreyour very badly miss informed, the 8520 is 3g (3rd generation) otherwise it wouldnt have internet use available (2g is voice and text)

I think both blackberry 8520 and 8900 sucks , 8520 is not 3g . Just buy the nokia e63 , it has 3g and wifi . It's also cheap .
