hi i'm having a huge problem with the Wifi from my 8520. it just doesn't seem to connect wif any wifi connections (either from homes or on the go). does anyone know hw to solve this prob? thanks.

hi, can somebody help me pls. I have BB 8520 but I can't surf the internet using my wifi connection at home. It says that I am already connected with my wifi but when I access the browser it can't load. Is it coz I don't have BIS? Is it not possible to surf the web with my 8520 using my wifi connection at home? Waiting for your answer feloow blackberrian. Thanks a lot!

i think they're different.. i can't install the farmville app using the bolt browser. anyway, it's no biggie. i'm happy with the bolt browser. you're right though. the default browser is faster and downloading clips from vuclip using it is easy. :)

Iv been using this fone for the past 3 months and its awesome!
But still I am not able to figure out how to select(mark) more than one contact or picture.
One can select more than one message by pressing and holding the SHIFT key n scroll up/down.But the same doesnt work for pictures or contacts.
Help..

You can download large files using Bolt Browser or Opera Mini 5. These allow you to choose where to download the file to and even rename it.
Or you can put music on it using Desktop Managar, Media Sync wiht iTunes or Windows Media Player or Mass Storage mode, connecting the device with the data cable to the PC.

Buddy, 22 Apr 2010So the e-mailing is like threaded but i heard you have to c... moreemailin just like smsin is more like when u get an email it directly push-ed to ur BB so no need to sync or check mail server,,, u dont hv to connect it everyday, once u subcribe so it goes along till u stop it or some carrier provide Blackberry on Demand service so u can activate it on ur timin',,, sorry but other querries seem will be explained by others here, im bad in explainin' n i need some rest LoL...

So the e-mailing is like threaded but i heard you have to connect every day and you can run it non stop so it is almost like MXit just on E-mail ,What other nice feutures does the device have ,that I can benefit from and does the device still run for 8days or did the upgrades on the curve's also been influenced.
