Hey guys this is totally awesome and coool (Eric Cartman's voice hehe). I estsablished bluetooth connection with this phone to my other devides (PC and other smartphone) and with my permission i can use those devices as SPEAKERS for my cellphone. totally awwwwesssommee

This phone was great to begin with but I soon regretted buying mine after a few weeks.
As a phone, it's fine. Loads of nice alerts to choose from and clear audio when speaking to someone.
However as a 'smartphone' this seriously falls short. It is quite obviously not as 'smart' as it thinks it is and daily tasks such as using the browser is an experience I don't look forward to. Excruciatingly slow page loads and when it does then you find that you have to magnify the page to actually read it. This results in having to wait yet again for the page to load. Then you choose the 'Column View' option so that the page loads up (yes, again) within your browser in a decent size. Sadly I have tried and failed to find a way of making this a default option whenever browsing - it doesn't exist.
My 8520 has a habit of freezing on certain apps. I use a couple of radio apps and this is particularly annoying when listening to a song and it just suddenly loses connection. A phone reset is required (either pull the battery or ALT+SHIFT+DEL. Sadly this is a 6+ minute process.
The camera is particularly bad unless you have plenty of natural daylight. Forget indoor shots in the evening.
In conclusion, it's just a glorified phone. As a smartphone, it seems to have delusions of grandeur which makes it anything but smart.

To be perfectly honest i do not like my bb curve 8520 it is constantly freezing and recieving texts two days later and i have only had it in a small period of time it's great at first but later on things start to slow down and the battery is terrible i usually have to charge it every night :( i am purchasing a new phone for Christmas :) its a good enough phone though comparing to some other phones :)

To download picmix, just go to app world and make sure you have register to it, after installing,u will then rebooth ur phone.
