Maninder, 30 Aug 2012is this 3g compatible or not?bb8520 is not 3G compliant bt if u prefer 3G phone you can always go for the bb curve 9300 which is basically the 8520 but with 3G compatibility

SMSs prior to 3 months are automatically getting deleted....sender's name is appearing but once u open the sms no text is there.....wats dat problem, plz do help me out....

1. Activate Bluetooth
2. Search for devices
3. Pair by giving password
After this you can able to send any data but when you wants to receive data then after above mentioned steps you have to go to Media then option and select the option Receive through Bluetooth.
Follow these steps your problem will solved.

For ease of use on texting i'll rate it 10/10
For voice call clarity, i'll rate it 10/10
For internet, it isn't 3g so most of the time loading takes time except for wifi connection. i'll rate 5/10
For screen and brightness it's clear even on direct sunlight. 10/10
For music and sound, it quite good 8/10
For interface, i kinda like that icons can be customized and drag anywhere so its 10/10
For battery life, it last 2 days on normal use. a day if you use it heavily or left bluetooth and wifi on. 2/10.
For camera it's just 2mp. i kinda miss the crisp and quality pic i get from my Nokia phone's 3.2 so i'll rate it 2/10.
over all i am quite satisfied with this handset since i used this mostly for texting and listening to music.
