I work for a UK network store and i've got received mine, i love it. By far the best handset i've ever had. Signal is excellent, battery isn't amazing but it lasts me about 2 days medium to heavy use so not bad. Audio quality is great, can't speak highly enough of this phone.

Its been a week since ive had this phone now.
i LOVE it. its a great phone. and very user friendly.
However, the battery life is terrible. As soon as i take it off charge, it goes down by one bar, and the entire battery only lasts me the whole day and not more than that. So, yes, it does have a bad battery problem that will only last you your day but if you are willing to overlook that the 8900 is a great buy.

StephenM., 07 Feb 2009I'm on a normal pay monthly tarriff with O2 in the U.K... I... moreno, you need to change to a specific blackberry services package with o2. This will come with web browsing included. The 7.50 normal web bolt on will not enable you to use all the services on your handset. Hope that helped!

I called in T-Mobile Customer Service, and the retail value of the phone will be $499.99. The upgrading value will be $199.99 after a $100 MIR with the purchase of an internet package.

I'm on a normal pay monthly tarriff with O2 in the U.K... I want to buy the blackberry curve 8900 on a handset only basis and put my normal o2 sim in it. I have the unlimited web bolt on for £7.50 per month so will it carry across to the blackberry and still work??

American mobile technologies, including Blackberry etc are lagging 3 years behind European and Asian.
And prices are absolutely crazy for mobile access.
In my country I pay 2-3 US cents per local minute without subscription fee or anything. And texts are 1-2 cents (local, international are 6 cents).

Can you make the Bold smaller like the size of the curve and please add more features to the phone like Nokia E71. It's like North American phones are so much behind compared to Nokia, Samsung and LG phones in terms of TECHNOLOGY?

wifi is a big fuss.. you'll understand some day.

(hint... for starters, i make all my calls over wifi as it's unlimited minutes for 9.99/mo... and since tmo has horrible coverage at my home and place of employment - i get great calls using wifi. second hint... data??? MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH faster over wifi...)

recieved my 8900 cruve today, its great, the best handset i've had in a long time. the wifi is great if you have access. 3g is somtimes a little faster but it depends upon if you get coverage. i have added some extra applications, google latitude maps, facebook etc, so its more personalised. lots of my work collegues/friends have it and they love the phone. cant say a bad word agaisnt it. the roll ball control iis easy to use, the keys are quite nicely spaced, could ahve been a bit more spaced but then the device would have been bigger. its a great size and very light. feel free to ask me any questions, I do work for a mobile company!!!
