All of them have been able to play music and videos, as well take some pretty good pictures, for the past 3 years at least. I store music on mine and listen to it in my car over bluetooth link with my stereo.

what is its release date in the U.K? and how much cheaper will it be than the bold?

It will be cheaper than the bold. It doesnt require 3G as it doesnt make video calls and gprs is fast enough for internet roaming. The wifi will be included so this phone will probably be the better out of the blackberry range like the existing curve.

Blackberry bold all day long!!! Easy decision for anyone in the know.Storm is in a tea cup poor touch to slow and the curve no 3g..

The one u r talking about is BlackBerry Bold 9000 and not BlackBerry Curve 8900.......

Blackberry has become a joke & half. No media or entertainment support. No basic FM radio option. The only reason they are doing well is cuz of the BES. Once the other players start producing data packages... thatz it.. there goes BBerry down the drain.
