To the two guys deciding which to choose...I use both 8520 and 8900, both extensively. My old 8900 is a work horse for my business, the 8520 is more for leisure. Both are good, read up all the specs and if the 8520 does all you want then go that way. The 8900 I love it but the now well outdated track ball can too easily stick with grit getting under it - a frustrating and common problem that needs a technician to clean it. The 8520 track pad is far better, an absolute pleasure to use, so unless you need your cell as a business work horse go for the 8520. I'm waiting to try the 9900.

i have a problem connecting to wi-fi. i search for a free network, it finds networks, and when i press the connect button it trys to connect but after some moments it says ,,unable to obtain an IP. what should i do?

miss bb, 17 Jul 2011hi there...i have problem to transfer contacts from my LG o... moremaybe if u transfer the contacts from ur lg phone(can happen with the settings in ur lg contacts area) to ur sim then insert the sim into ur bb and there u go i think that shall solve ur problem

Please help me, I cant surf using net wifi load etc. Prompt always says "Unable to find the requested server" I dont know what to do should I have it upgraded or reformated? It can detect wifi when I am beside the router, only when I am right beside as in super near. It cant detect wifi that broad compare to other bb like 8520. I am afraid that the hardware itself is the one with defect. :( I hope someone can help me.

Hi I bought BB Javelin 8900 and I am having a trouble with it,Everytime I try to surf the net prompt always says "Unable to find the server" but still I can connect to wifi, but It can only connect to wifi when I am right beside the router, as in beside the router. I feel so stressed because I dont know what to do, Should I have it upgraded or reformated? How much would that cost? Or is it easy if I do it myself? I am afraid that the hardware itself is the one that have a problem. I hope someone can help me :(

Hi, I bought this BB 8900 second hand and I like it. This is the first bb phone I bought and I have decided to buy bb always. Also bought BB storm JLT. Want to collect as many models as I can. Blackberry is superior compared to all other smart phones. IPhone exceptional.

i want to buy a blackberry 8900 or 8520 ... i heard at the 8900 is the problem with trackball ... without that .. is any other problem with the phone ?:) on the 8520 must people who i speek told me it`s ok .... but 8900 it`s a little bit better ... a suggestion ?:) thx
