Great phone! Survived a drop into water. never hangs. Pity about the slow modem (and sometimes lags the device when downloading large web pages) Else, perfect for my business comms and diary needs.

Just switched fr storm 9500 to 8900. I got rid of the weight and size as 8900 is slim and weigh much lesser. Excellent size and appearance.
Typing with storm 9500 sucks coz it cant support my speed of typing as u need to press the screen down. Lots of typing error too coz yr thumbs are blocking the letters. Of course if you type slow and steadily then it's alright.
8900 doesnt have 3G but it doesnt bother me coz i set to 2G as well when i was on storm coz the 3G network coverage here is not stable. So no point using it coz it sucks battery.
8900 keypad is quite good. Just upgraded to os 5.0 and it's more responsive now especially the trackball, unlike the sluggish 4.6.
A good buy, value for money.

Its a good phone but you have to go through a whole lot of crap just to use the Wi-Fi feature, browser and being able to download from the apps world.

Very short talk time on battery, I have to charge it twice in a day...problem of locking up on keypads when you use the phone on calls on long durations (on my experience at 30 mins to 1 hour)...all other features though are good..
