Trackpad on 8520 is much better than track ball on 8900. But i will still prefer 8900 just because of screen, sunlight visibility is spot on even better than iPhone. With lower resolution 8520 display act like a mirror under direct sunlight.

For Everyone that has problem with Receiving.

when u go to ur Media, depending on the file u want to receive. If you want to receive video, scroll on the video, then use the Options button, scroll down, u'll see Receive File Using Bluetooth.
Its just like some PC whereby u have to do the same to receive a file.

                      Hi All,

My BB Curve 8900 has a blank white screen and I am unable to do anything. Can somebody please guide how to take backup of data, sms & call logs. Is all the data restorable if I have a recent backup of the phone (including sms & call logs????).

                      Thanks in advance.

                      Regards,

                      Kaushal.

i am using this phone for 2 months now, the battery backup is worst. very few apps are available rather no games are avaible on net.buy the nokia e72.buy 8900 only if you want to use blackberry services. e72 is much better than this phone.

[deleted post]I suggest you go for BB 8520 curve instead, its value for money n features are similar to B8900. I a using it and and trust me can't loive without it even for a day. Fantastic phone!

The 9700 is obviously better. It costs more, so it should be. But 8900 is still a great phone if you don't need 3G. If you do, buy a 9700.
