yeahh very well then mine will be 1 year this oct 27th i had d same issue of just shutting down a will, i reloaded the os with different 7.1 version at different times testing the smooth ness buil 1133 sims to be the best but the real problem lies in the ba3 get a new ba3 i have 2 and i discover the shutting down problem happens on B wen ba3 B is low

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!
I recently got this phone on contract by Cell C and I have had endless problems, Cell C had to give me another Blackberry 9380 because the first one i had, had a software issue. The battery life on this phone WONT even last a day, the phone will seem nice and all but once the problems start then you screwed. It has a 1 year warranty on it, while other phones have a 2 Year warranty

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2013hi how did you update?download blackberry desktop software in your pc and download 7.1 os and connect to your device or else you can give it to your local service centre and it will take just 15 mins to update.....piece of cake

This phone has to be updated with os 7.1 otherwise it will not run smoothly.....i have updated and its smooth and am in love with it.....

This phone is excellent. I am in love with this phone. However, there is one thing that is annoying me a lot. The stupid Blackberry internet plans. The normal 2g & 3g internet plans donot work on this. The Blackberry plans are a waste of money for minimal internet users like me.

I think 9380 have nice colour in picture,video player, media player is great too.also 9380 have Responsive touchscreens. But this time my blackberry 9380 have a problem like you. Sometimes just turn off and restarting itself if i use media player,camera,send message and other things.My question is : a problem only the bad battery or the problem with OS 7 so i must update OS 7 software?

I have been having so many problems with regards to battery life of my BB 9380 Curve. The phone randomly just switches off and always restarts/ reboots. I tried removing my SIM card and replacing the battery but it takes forever and this is not normal for this to happen more than three times a day. The phone is just over a year old so could the battery have deteriorated?
