Have just added 2 of these to the Company "fleet" and I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised!!! Feels premium, looks premium, and so far there has been a surprisingly positive response from all who have come into contact with them. Also, the price.. with the current discount in place this really is very good value for money. Well done Blackberry!!

The DTEK50 is the only Android phone of BlackBerry that does not support the BlackBerry Picture Password. Which in accordance to BlackBerry is the most secure way to login. As well as from my experience.
BlackBerry support flags safety concern in modern browsers as the company has problems to make it secure.
So much to a company specialising in security???
Other than that it is a smartphone with Android and the BlackBerry software which sometimes can be confusing even for the software itself. But mostly working as expected.

Q10 was a better phone.
This one tries to be a computer... but various functions gradually stop working.
Bring back the old Blackberries!

I bought this phone 2 months ago and I am really enjoying it. The built quality is amazing. Before buying it I heard from reviews that it does not score well with the battery but I would I am satisfied with it, I used to have a HTC one X and this one is way better. I would recommend this phone to new buyers. It is worth the price

The battery sucks... wont last even half day.
with 2610 mAh, if the fon cant last half a day.. Dont have much words..

Bought it from BB direct last August. Wonderful fast gadget in every way. Love its camera and the speed of operation.

It's a sbit device. I bought this device from Snapdeal and after using for a month device power key and volume key stopped working. When I contacted BB for support they said they can't help it coz I bought this from Snapdeal, so I contacted Snapdeal for help however they said it's more than a month so we can help you. So I invested 22 k and got a device that worth nothing.
Do not buy this device as it is wastage of money.

Billyboys, 13 Mar 2017i found both at the same level ...i mean ...thats different... morelove to hear from a iphone user..most cases BB users are rare, atleast in most peer groups..even in my office/friend circle i stand alone as the only BB addict..most other with either iphone/samsung, may be strange in my case,,however coming to this forum atleast gives pleasure on great reviews..my devices from BB curve/bold/z10 and now Dtek50..may be i never thought, neither bothered trying other brands..i loved the handy look of iphone6, although have thought of getting one before i landed with dtek50... but didnt want to miss my hub and BB as whole...
May be the decision was right since i lov my dtek so much...its quite a great daily driver meeting all my business/proffesional needs..a decent battery, handy, impressive camera,,all in one..quite happy with almost 8 months user now..
