Why still it categorised to Bussiness Class. Because screen size, old hardware, and high cost! Not necessary if Android is too casual than BB ois.

Just got this device, but can you advice, I have a few e mails accounts working from the hub but how can set it that all e mails come as unread with a sign and only once opened will it show as read, as currently all emails arrive as read so I can't know what is read and what not,

                      Greetings All,
The blackberry keyone is targeted for business professionals that is how it was for a while now. This device is not for people who want to watch movies on there phones nor for a professional photographer. Myself as a businessman I love this phone because it facilitates all my work related needs. I had a BB passport I loved the device but the problem it was running bb 10 and i was struggling to use some excellent andriod apps. Now a device like this it is just perfect for my business needs such as calls, emails, reminders, events and battery life is perfect. So I can compromise for the other unnecessary stuff for the stuff that matters.

I want to find out if there are some programs like WhatsApp they do not work for us without VPN. There are any programs from Keyone that without VPN worked. Thanks in advance for your reply ..!

I am also concerned about the keyboard. So used to the feel on the Classic. Wish they hadn't changed it.

Anonymous, 31 May 2017Its not the product; I am sure it's solid. Unfortunately, ... moreI am Mr. Nobody.
Checking specs i am real target customer. Using BB since 9300, have been through 9360, 9790, 9720, 9900. I was artificially not switching to OS10.
Ordered yesterday. I am expecting to be as solid as my 9900 and only cons to me is the missing trackpad.

                                Use it for 1 week.

                                Good Thing :
                                - Battery Life very good
                                - Keyboard

                                Bad Thing :
                                - Head Up Notification is annoying, hope can remove it just only need badge&Sound notification
                                - Very Standar Application, need other android app to optimize this phone such as file explorer, password for APP, custom notification etc
                                - Phone Call voice to low even the volume was maximum
                                - Because of Snapdragon 6, phone little bit slower
                                - Gorilla Glass 4, seems easy to scratch

First of all, I will mention that I have been a Blackberry user since the 7130e device and have been using Blackberries since then. I also hope that people will respect my feedback based on my experience on using this device since May 31. Partnering with TCL may have been a little too late but, the KeyOne was a very well designed phone. It may not have the same super performance specifications like the iphone 7/Samsung S8/Google Pixel, but I believe that they were aiming to please both business users and appeal to app users as well. First of all; the sleek lightweight design is the envy of all my friends - all of whom have previously mentioned "premium" smartphones. The common statement being "That's a Blackberry?!!". Functionality is very good and very seamless based on my experience switching from my Blackberry Classic (BB 10 o/s) to Android o/s (my first time) and it didn't take very long to get used to it. Browsing the internet is considerably faster than my Classic and the screen does allow for auto-rotation along with having an on-screen keyboard if need be. The camera is adequate but does not come with an image stabilizer. I do have to point out that the battery life is quite exceptional if you don't use too many apps. The keyboard is definitely smaller than my Classic and this could be a problem for people with larger + thicker fingers and would probably take some time to get used to. The BB hub provides an efficient method to keep all your e-mails/text messages easier to manage. I did notice that the "boost" mode for charging your phone does cause the phone to heat up along with multiple app usage and games. I do miss the mouse but that being said, I have to say that this is the best BB made thus far.

                                  Pros:
*Keyboard along with the mouse/swiping ability on this physical keyboard *Exceptional battery life and quick charging capability *Sleek/slim and lightweight *Great screen/quality of images/video *Efficient system (ie ram, processor) *Fingerprint scanner for unlocking device
                                  Cons:
*Battery heats up considerably when using multiple apps and performing a boost charge *Power key should be positioned a bit lower *Physical keyboard size might be a little too small for some users *Lack of mouse (my personal preference) *Volume whether on normal phone call or speakerphone, when playing music is not very loud *Screen brightness not very bright

I'm just been using this phone for the last few days, moved over from a windows phone and so it's my best experience I've ever had of an android device. The KeyOne from blackberry sells it self as a 'secure smarphone' the built in full querty keyboard is an excellent feature, and one which could be a winner for this phone for those who miss the real keys! It does run quite hot when using things like gps/internet but not overly so. Overall its a really surperb well made handset, maybe somewhat on the heavy side for some though it certainly has a good solid feel to it that you actually feel you're using something of purpose.
