BlackBerry Keyone successor already in the works with Snapdragon 660
The Keyone has definitely been a very successful BlackBerry branded Android device, and it looks like TCL, the company making it, is already working on a successor. The existence of this model has been revealed today through a user agent profile spotted on a TCL website.
The upcoming phone will have the model number BBF100-1, which makes sense considering that the Keyone is BBB100-1 and the recently announced Motion is BBD100-1. That's a pretty consistent naming scheme TCL has developed for model designations.
The new BBF100-1 has a physical QWERTY keyboard too and it will keep the screen resolution of the Keyone, namely 1,080x1,620. It's unclear if the screen size will stay the same at 4.5", but it wouldn't be surprising if it did.
A clear upgrade will come in processing power, because the Keyone's successor will sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chipset. It comes with a 2.2 GHz octa-core Kryo 260 CPU and the Adreno 512 GPU, along with the X12 LTE modem enabling up to 600Mbps peak download speeds and 150Mbps peak uploads. All in all, it should definitely provide better performance than the Snapdragon 625 inside the Keyone.

They KeyOne was the sleeper hit of the year. I do think they will include an upper mid range chipset to justify an increase.

Lol, SDM660 is dodgy. Moto X4 also has SDM660 but got 630. 630, 636, and 660 have the same pin and software compatibility https://www.qualcomm.com/news/releases/2017/10/17/qualcomm-snapdragon-636-mobile-platform-delivers-significant-increases
