blackberry is crap, 05 Apr 2016If you need functionality and ability to us multiple basic ... more5 Blackberrys so far. Right now l'm using Classic and Passport. Never ever any problems! Very practical devices with very stable OS. I use them a lot for phoning, texting, mailing, reading news - but I never play games on phones because I have no time for this. Battery lasts two days on normal use, one day on heavy use (Passport is a little bit better). I can't imagine for what else should I use my phones. I use other GPS devices when I need navigation. Would buy Blackberry again!

manoj, 30 Apr 2016i phone 5s I have had both phones, the iPhone 5s was a work phone and the leap is my personal phone. I would give the advantage to the iPhone on apps, but functionality goes to my BlackBerry. You are allowed to do more things at the same time (be on a call and surf the Web at the same time for example). The texting features of the BlackBerry are far superior. Since I work traveling to Mexico I would have to text in Spanish some times, with the iPhone I needed to switch the language whenever I wanted to text in a different language with the BlackBerry it detects what language I'm texting in and adapts to each text. I can even switch languages in the same text and the BlackBerry recognizes it.

I have been using this for almost a year now since its release and trust me guys it's my soul now. I have used iPhone 5s, Samsung, htc and also Motorola. Leap stands out in all aspects. Yes u have to sacrifice some apps but those are not essential apps. This system is awesome. Multitasking beast this is and now I am scared that if I ha e to let go of this fone what will I land up with next??? Screen is a jewel with super display and keyboard is the best in the world. U will get addicted to this phone. Has a Millionaire look and everyone wants to know which fone I am using. Even iPhone users have shied away. Video and music is awesome too but the most attractive feature is Multitasking. My fone has not hanged once in the past year and this fone actually listens to you. It's not a smart fone it's actually the smartest fone with real intelligence. It reads you better than ur wife. For the given price this machine is a beast. Go for it blindly and you will never repent. In fact I have never reviewed any product I use anywhere but I felt I would do injustice to my best friend if I didn't review him....ooops I am talking about my leap. The leap of faith. Don't think just buy it. Super investment.

the mobile is good but having only one problem with it, that it is available in single sim, I request to blackberry company to launch blackberry leap in dual sim with gorilla glass protection.

In a country where more than half the people use android and the richer, less sensible halves would spend half an lakh and buy tiny storage iPhones, this BlackBerry device offers a pleasant break and turns heads wherever I go.
The OS has tiny tit bits that no other OS offers be it picture lock or tiny little things that people who review this phone without using it. It gives you all the information at your finger tips in one quick swipe or gesture. every single action can be done quickly and efficiently only if you know the tricks. And the phone never seems to stop surprising me with little bits of detail that BlackBerry has never missed out. They probably designed the OS with a 'what would I wanna see next point of view'. The OS also runs android apps and agreed not all android apps but just the few games, pedometers, utility apps etc that I need. Any app that does not need Google Play Services should run on the device. I play heavy games and also run multiple apps at the same time. It may lag once in a very long while but only for a fraction before resuming and I'm very very happy with it. The email on BlackBerry is the best I've ever ever worked with and only one thing seems to drive the phone ' simplicity and efficiency'. The Hub is a beautiful something where instead of swiping away notifications they're always there at all times when I wanna see them. I can see them all at once or category wise or unread ones only and what not. The typing experience is unmatched and I will never love another keyboard the way I do this phone's where I just swipe left on the keyboard to delete and press shortcuts like l t without the space and hit space to display the current time (8:54:36 AM) and million other shortcuts that I'm sure even I don't know fully.
Moving on to the hardware I don't get what brick is being spoken about. See the pictures the design is beautiful. When the screen is sleeping the entire front is pitch black and you don't even see the demarcation between the screen and the bezel which makes it really attractive. The symbol itself has turned a few many heads and trust me. I have dropped this phone a million times from varied heights and nothing really happened. It works as great as new even today.
Sorry for being a bit lengthy but honestly this is one of the best phones I've ever had and I've had good phones trust me. I am not only in love with it but I'm proud of it and flaunt it wherever I go. If you're thinking of buying this phone think about it.. you could be giving up being a part of the herd. You may give up some apps and you may get a lot of criticism. But when you're using the phone and blazing through all the tasks, it'll be worth it :)
