Do you face problems or something annoying slow make a call, receive incoming calls and check balance on your BlackBerry Z10, Z30 or Leap like my Z10? I uploaded video that shows the lag like I experienced.

Dan, 02 Aug 2015I love reading comments about who is better, android, iphon... moreI agree with you Dan. I use my BlackBerry Z3 for calls, email, browsing, and some basic apps and it works for me. What I love about BlackBerry is the hub. We can easily manage all sort of messages from 1 centre. You dont need to tap open every apps to view new message come in. The way notifications come in also very neat and professional compared to androids which you can find all sorts of notifications icons queuing on top of screen and it looks crowded and unmanaged.

BlackBerry is a business tools and profesional smartphone. It manage background running apps easily, either you minimize the apps or close it easily. I have been using Z3 for more than 1 year, and I dont face any 'OS hang' issue at all. I will move to BlackBerry leap for its camera spec and hope BlackBerry will improve the making and answering call lags. This is what business smartphone is for, to make and receive calls. Lagging issur should not be there. Almost all the classic unit do not have this problem.

Hope I will get chances to use passport in near future.

I love reading comments about who is better, android, iphone....
The first question you need to answer is what are your needs?
business + security = BB, sorry but even the president of the US cant use anything because of security.
You want multimedia, you want key board, you want to connect to TV, Gaming....
they you choose the phone that matches your needs.
you cant tell everyone that a mini can be used to move fridges around and you cant tell a guy with a Semi truck just go to a grocery store.

                                Second, specs of the box...
yes you can compare cpu, screens.......
but remember, its the hardware that goes with OS.
Android and Iphone are getting hungrier because we created a demand for more apps and games.
but when you look at BB, he uses Qnix behind BB10, Qnix has been around for more than 20 years and I remember it as an IT person that we used to boot it up on one diskette and voila, multitask, multiuser from a diskette. they were the only one to do true multitask with 640 k of memory.
I say that if we cut come slack instead of judging BB10 from the old BB phones that everybody learned to hate, BB10 with Qnix will get way better and trust me, Qnix will impress alot with time.

So first go with your needs first then it makes it easier to find your device.

                                my 2 cents :-)
For me I am trying to see when the Z50 gets out, since I need security for business and the specs looks amazing.

                                Have a great day all!!

BB can support android apps also, so its different from Symbian, and symbian is a shit now a days, so atleast dont compare bb with it

I almost don't install apps from Amazon. Most apps I get from blackBerry World, other apps like Opera Mini, ePSXe, I took from other web that provide .apk

I think people should aware, BlackBerry 10 is not Android.

z10, 30 Jul 2015Conceived as a more affordable alternative to the Z30, the ... moreTo be honest the Android apps are very laggy and buggy and crash a lot on the Blackberry platform from Amazon. Most work fine, then others are slow and crash. The Blackberry world apps run very smooth. I bought the M9 HTC and LG G4 and eh while performance is better, the android apps tend to be very buggy and laggy however smoother on droids like the HTC or LG compared to the Blackberry droid apps. That being said productivity for me, mostly for school on the Blackberry using the Remember App (synced with Evernote) gets the job done alongside quick messaging on the Hub make Blackberry Z30 one awesome machine. I find it better than the droids and slightly better than the iPhone. Its cool to have some advantage of using some droid apps on the BB but ultimately you wont get it all
