Blackberry 10.3.1 OS is super cool and smart. All it needs now is a breakthrough in design ! Leap is no ground breaking design either ! so BB hire a new designer

With this device there is nothing new which appears to have been invented specifically for this device,except the new OS platform. In many of this device' parts are a repititions of previous models the super famous Z10 and small scaled Z30 phablet which is Z3

Very disappointed about this device. It was assembled using the hardware of both the famous Z10 and the z30 miniature handset Z3.
I notice very small development and improvement in this device except the new OS platform. This time Blackberry and her engineers didn't have something to put on the table and impress us her conzumers and fight her rivals.

I'm a big fan of blackberry and I use one but this does not mean I'm a businessman nor a office going professional. I am extremely sad to say I'm disappointed with the specifications of this device. I know a dual core processor is enough to keep BB10 os running but as a consumer I'd expect more. From my experience using Z10,which runs on the same processor, I have to admit that the processor it not that capable of running android apps simultaneously smoothly. In my opinion they could have gone for a Snapdragon 400 or even a 410. I don't know whether it is foolish for me to say this, but I think BB can do better if they make processors by themselves like samsung and apple does. I think it's about time that they understand WHAT THE CONSUMER NEED and not what they expect the consumer to do with a BB.

25 hour "talk time" battery life... this will outlast most tablets. Sign me up please.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2015......Bb is not bad at all, the only problem is that not all android apps run smooth and I hope with this edition they sorted out the battery overheat problem my Z 10 gets very hot on my new sony z3 I miss the bb keyboard and the minimized screens that is right on the main screen the leap is basically a z10 with bigger battery and lte (4g)not too shabby!

I currently have the Z30 and have had it for a while which is also my 9th BB. If the Leap is BBs way of new ideas and innovative ways, then it looks like I'm not buying my 10th BB phone this year at least!!!

Dual Core 1.5GHZ with Adreno 305 is not MSM8960 Pro but its an APQ806X which is actually the play series... So there's nothing wrong in choosing this CPU, and if u suggest that you would like to have SD400/410 chip, well, in performance and benchmarks, it is still running superior by a hundred or even thousand..
This phone is maybe not for HEAVY USER OR TECH WISE OR PHOTOGRAPHERS... but for a normal person like me, this phone is great... A 5inch with 720p + a loud speaker + a decent camera that is good in taking simple file or photo... Well, this maybe a phone that is only good for students or normal person....

Looks to me like one more stylish, high quality, good and reliable phone from Blackberry.
Don't full yourself with non 40 mega pixels camera and similar.
I am curious to read the official review once the phone is available.
Note: my company phone is Lumia. Experience from my colleagues is far from nice words written hear about it. Most of the experiences with Samsung phones are similar: works good for some time
Therefore make no mistakes: there is one quality phone in the market pushed out with mass products: Blackberry. Think...

Lots of trolls on here.. What don t you understand about Blackberry 10.3.1 will be on the leap. Qnx is the os Behind Blackberry 10. Blackberry 10.3.1 can run better on the leap than and Android phone with 22 cores. Its not the size that counts its the way the Os handles..

I wouldn't mind buying this phone at all, those are some good specs, as for some of you on here who say they should have a 3gb ram, bla bla bla and so on.. why dont you buy go buy an iphone 6 or 6 plus with 1GB ram lol with less than $300...
