I totally agree with you. The Blackberry Leap, is nothing new but a remade Blackberry Z3. Blackberry be inventive and stop being repeatitive

Just use the new 10.3.1 in a phone. With this OS BlackBerry phones just rock.

Honestly BlackBerry should just make a smartphone the way Asus did good example is the Asus Zenfone series. Providing good quality smartphone with promising specifications and reasonable price. Why can't BB realize that making pricey smartphones with outdated specs wouldn't get them nowhere recovering their loss instead they should lower the price provide quality phones the the Asus zenfone 5 & 6 and this would sell a lot. They should do this with BB Leap. Their pricing is their number one disadvantage

This one is an entry level mobile under $300, the expected price is 275, don't expect it to compete with $1000 mobile, for this price, it has a decent specifications, bearing in mind that blackberry operating system is not resource hungry like the android

Does not seem like a bad phone. It looks like it is just an all touch Classic. I would love to try an Blackberry 10 handset. Other than the Palm OS's I have not used it yet. Now I use IOS and Windows Phone mostly, and have a Android tablet I share with my Dad. I do have a coworker that has a Q10 as an mp3 player. He moved over to a Galaxy S5 as his main phone.

Sunil, 03 Mar 2015What is the difference between Z3 and Leap?The difference is the hardware. The 'Leap's hardware is a bit higher than that of Z3.
Looking closer to this new Blackberry it has its hardware built the same with those of the Blackberry Z10. I do not this handset is going to catch a lot of fish for its owners

all other smartphones look similar to this i would appreciate blackberry please bring something new in design we will love to see some flip,slider, folder type smartphones.

I thought BlackBerry will release a touch screen phone with the same specs as the passport.. now this is just a repetition of the Z30.. no wonder why they are not in the top10 anymore

OMG did they just water down a Z30 or what?
The display is identical and the processor is just as slow.
But then again, what do you expect for $275.00 ?
My guess is that it'll do okay for an entry level device though.

A nexus 4 (specs) wrapped in blackberry body. But S4 chip is good enough i think.
