Counted myself lucky to have made the right decision to run to the telco shop to get the Blackberry Passport on the first day it was available in Singapore. Have been using the Passport since 27 Sept 2014. Really loved it! I used to carry two phones, a BB Q5 for texting and a Sony Xperia Z for surfing the net. Now the Passport is totally sufficient for me. There is no more need for an Android phone since I am able to run all the Android apps I need on the Passport. It is really the best phone I have used. Hope that all those who want to buy the passport will be able to get hold of one soon. :)

This is an intelligent device. Request users to use then comment. Innovation at best. Truly trust Apple and BlackBerry to front end innovation. Rest will copy.

                    http://crackberry.com/no-you-dont-need-bis-plan-blackberry-10-phones

1- Yes, you can use any smartphone data plan for BB10
2- Yes, a dedicated BlackBerry plan will still work
3- No, you can't use a feature plan like email only or BBM only
4- Yes, you need a micro SIM card to use in BB10 phones

There are a few catches here however. Yes, you can also use a dedicated BlackBerry plan with no problem. That means a full-out BlackBerry data plan, not an individual feature plan. Plans that feature segmented data streams, like BBM/email only or "social plans" are currently no good on BlackBerry 10. So if you're swapping over from another platform, BlackBerry 10 makes things easy in that you don't even need to swap your data plan with your carrier. If you're currently on a BlackBerry plan you are good to go as well.

The blackberry passport is the best blackberry out in the market. It will not disappoint you! The speed and quality of images and multitasking is certainly an amazing experience. I have had the phone now for three days and love it. I also owned several phones including iphone4 galaxy S5 and note3 but have enough respect for blackberry. I have to say the passport is unique and you will love it once owning one.

The only thing that makes carry along an android phone is because I miss the Gmail app on my bbz30. Old mails from my email address do not load and are not accessible in the mail inbox from my z30.

It has great pluses and also better than most of the android competition.what I miss most in latest blackberry devices is having my BIS privileges which I think would be a great idea to bring back ....that was the beauty of blackberry and would definately increase the sales of the brand globally.

I've spent a (criminal) number of hours online to find this fone to buy now without luck. As a diehard, I'm glad they're supplying this device slowly to keep up the hype, just like all the other masters of smartphone PR (no names mentioned). As things are going, when I get my Passport I seriously believe, this time, iphone (etcetera) addicts may not sneer quite so readily.
