They make tons of cash from customers from data hungry Apple and Android phones and not much with BIS plan. That's why they are railroaded to this new data plan in order to be even supported by the Carriers.

But what is there for children who grow up and get tired of playing games,and so on,and want to, say, write books. I think these ambitious people deserve devices which can priorotise serious things without being swamped by entertainment. The passport seems capable enough to do this.

              I have to say from someone who has given up on blackberry phones for a few years well done blackberry and undo love this phone great specs love the shape and look enjoy reading my docs emails and yes so glad I am using a physical keypad again. I never enjoyed tapping on a virtual keypad and with access to android its a perfect phone for me. I always said why don't companies ever develope a larger phone with a great display and a physical keyboard. Finally that has been done by nine other but blackberry welcome back.

Business people are NOT the only serious users of technology.Professors, scientists,the literati,thinkers, are also very serious folks who sometimes have no time for multimedia antics.BlackBerry was founded on serving these people before the name Smartphone was coined.

                            I have been a regular user of blackberry and iPhone and have almost used all top spec android phones.

                            Let me give you all a brief info what major difference between all this are.

                            Android is now a days junk, almost similar to Symbian and there's soon gonna happen where you will see android vanishing, people getting bore to it, etc etc.. Android was launched in India in 2008 year where people were stuck to Syrmbian, things started getting changed people started using android and today we see max share with android. Soft thing it's actually getting worse day by day, your bandwidth of internet is used by apps which is hidden and people don't even calculate it. Android says we have xyz no of applications, but 60% of those applications are crap and fake. Hardware part the phone heating problem is still not resolved, water proof phones get most of the time defective, you at least need to restart phones once in 2-3 days... The only good thing about android is you get apk from anywhere and install it, rest battery life, hardware design are really the same.

                            Apple iPhone, I am currently using iPhone 6 and what I found it battery life which was issue for iPhone lovers is but solved, you get 30% extra battery compared to 5s, but then why pricing of Apple is so high ? Well Apple is a premium brand agreed but then if you really think of buying a premium brand why not go and buy Tag , virtue, Lamborghini phones ? Still even if Apple phones are of good quality they are still made in China, assembled in China is what they name it. But then every android phone is happening the same, so Apple fan lovers understand it, Apple is as same as high end android phone is, the build quality Apple use is superb, but as they say innovation, well nothing is that great in iPhone 6 as innovation I found, I still feel iPhone 5s is just made long and bit wide and people have been fooled.. iPhone 6 is not a great phone, but Apple fan lovers will never agree, because they are dominating, it's a status point, and after all they says its and Apple phone, phone which can bend, and not Blend.. I am using iPhone 6 from last 4 days and I am not really happy with it.. It still has that heating issues, and then Whatsapp, facebook have been crashing whole day for at least 3-4 times...

                            Now comes blackberry, the company which is trying to show what innovation is, th company which is trying to swim in a deep ocean where there are lot of sharks present and lot of wild creatures present, but if you look at history, blackberry has been the best innovation company, one of the best OS they have given, not a single hacking case has been registered , the best part of bb is they are not manufactured it assembled in China... Their quality of handsets are superb awesome, they are again knows as premium brands, though they are neglected but then blackberry passport has made mouth shut of all innovators, critics, analyst.. BB OS is a new cupcake with so so many features which you won't see in android and iOS.. Though BB lack with some applications and games but then that's not what smartphones are build for, I have been using z30 for 9 months and trust me something best I have ever used. passport design many of them have critisie it but then people who have started using it know how handy it is, I got an chance to use it for 20 min and trust me, I have just one thing to say it's Super Sexi device... Hardware, soft both are great, no crashing, no lacking, no restart problems, you can use your phone for months without restarting... I have been a blackberry fan, but at same time I have also been Apple lover, but when I had to choose between productivity and style I will go with bb passport..

                            Accept the fact that BB new OS is much better then android 4.4 and iOS 8, I have used all three and thus I can compare it.

                            Indian passport lovers, you will get this beauty on 10th October in metro cities and 11th out rest of cities... Only black colour is launching at a moment and price tag would be 42000-44000

                            Tomorrow we have launching in India at Delhi, but availability is expected from 10th October.

                                    i used to jst hate BB.... but for this phone i would like to congratulate BB.... thumbs up frm my side....pretty cool job with grt specs nd a vgud good battry..!! but but but.......this is an android era... if u want to beat high end android phones....then u should have brought this phone at near abt 25k... 40k is vry much fr this.....

                                      I'm sure this is a good device if you are constantly sending emails or typing notes, but I have to say that I hate phones with physical keyboards - what a waste of potential screen real estate! As I said, if you need to be typing all the time, fine, but I mainly read information or ebooks so I like a large screen and don't need to use a keyboard very often so a virtual one is good enough. In fairness to BB, however, they are targeting their device at business users who are constantly sending emails so maybe it is a great choice for them.
