Price of the handset would be around 40K . Which would be expensive ?as compared to other smart phone handset . Blackberry need to rethink on the pricing model in India specially for corporate blackberry lovers

Ever since my hands landed on blackberry curve 8310 back 2006,,I have never looked back. I really wonder what I would do if blackberry switched from phones to fast food....lol. Ok. I'm curren in bold 9900 and I love the passport idea of keeping the keypad...the design is aggrecive just as its internet servicves...my concern is battery. Bb has never been good in battery so when I see this having a non-removable battery I'm wondering if its a harvesting time for bb coz it means after loving it and your battery is dead you have to buy another phone...!
O_O.

Hello to the next gereneration Pocket PC/PALM Treo ,looking forward to getting my BB Passport which is already intransit from USA to Australia. I used Pocket PCs & PALMS more between 2000 - 2006, and missed the advantages of these PDAs, the gap between phone function & PDA fucntion has narrowed until the smartphone killed the PDA, Ive waited for the day that a new PALM Treo like smartphone was created, that day has come, congrats BB, this is not a phone but a tool to get the job done.

AnonD-309458, 25 Sep 2014Is there a call connected vibration on BBPassport? I think no, but you can always download and install "Vibrate on Call Connect" app from BB Word! It's free and it does exactly what you want!

minardski, 25 Sep 2014I agree. If BB10 will only allow BIS subscription, it will ... moreYes! My brother, that's just what they need to do. Android or IOS they are all draining data as fast as u will end up regretting. If at all Blackberry CEO will listen to blackberry hardcore fans then it will be a jackpot for them. Example here in Nigeria virtually every person that has an iphone or any type of android phone from Samsung, htc, tecno, motorola,Sony, hauwei, gionee, just name it, they either have a BB that runs with BIS whether the BB is 5 or 10 years old they don't care bcuz it saves them from more Mb and data hungry phones everyday,Even me. I have used more than 7-9 android flagship phones from samsung S2-S5,Htc M7,LG optimus Vu,tecno Phantom A+ just to mention a few but I refused to let go of my BB 9900 (Bold 5) presently am I just bought a samsung galaxy note 3 neo bcuz of the dual sim functionality bcuz I have 3 lines, 1 personal line, 1 official line and 1 line for internet (BB). Blackberry with BIS remains the best. Pls Blackberry don't be deceived that's where your strength lies. Pls your unannnounced blackberry classic phone should be a BIS phone. Just do tins your fans want. Thank you GSMarena, thank you BLACKBERRY, thank you Blacckberry faithfuls.

JYB BBZ30, 20 Sep 2014Since you are a former Blackberry user, I will call you 'fr... moreok if you are inviting me back to bb devices (after years ago switching from a htc hero to a bb storm 2 went awry for me as in my diary) let me ask you a simple question is bb maps effective as google maps or even nokia here maps perhaps. (i know here maps ain't no where near google maps but just asking) i dont wanna get lost here and there without proper info and whereabouts of atms and banks or other locations. or at least is there any official google maps app for bb devices ? secondly bb used to make devices that can be operated with one hand as most of the people who use those are busy business people, is the passport easy to use with one hand ? third is this device worth all the money they ask for it ? fourth is bb 10+ os so cool and feature rich as some claims it to be ? (touch keyboard is great but people want more than that) fifth is is the bb app world equipped with games that's being released for i os , android and windows phone ? lastly im guessing bb did a big mistake by releasing a bb messenger for windows phone platform as that is the only unique feature i have seen in a bb device. :)

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2014pros: 1. IT DOESN'T BEND 2. GREAT BATTERY LIFE ... moreiphone 6 = Aluminum (A toxic metal linked to Alzheimer disease and brain deformities perhaps increasing the risk of Parkinson’s and dementia.) / BlackBerry Passport = Steel (Not toxic to you at all. Unless you have a tool that can vaporize steel and you intentional touch the vaporized steel.)

i think i'm going back to my first love..blackberry. although at first it felt like the shape is weird for a smartphone, but considering that im going to use this mostly for emails ang work. i'll probably switch back to this from iphone5s that im using.
another plus:
i wont be tempted to go to social media sites.
iphones and androids are so distracting.
