    Can't change the battery?
That absolutely annoys me. Deal breaker.
I was keen to go with this phone until I read that.
The fact that no carriers sell this phone in Australia means it is going to be a huge issue to change the battery when it is stuffed. I can buy it in Australia from importers though and it will work on the networks here.
I am not into throwing phones away so I need to be able to change the battery when it is stuffed!
I have a Blackberry 9700 but its browser is next to useless. Also the carriers in Australia are killing the 2g network so i need a 4G phone otherwise I have just a single 3G band on my 9700 cos they are killing the bands that 2G and 3G run off.
Otherwise the fetaures are very similar to the Samsung S5 which is on sepcial here but i really like the Blackberry product.
Why did they make the battery non changeable? I am not going to buy one now. Samsung S5. Can change battery. It's best feature!!!

sklub, 20 Feb 2017I'm comparing this 400 dollar mobile with my 60 dollar andr... moreIf you want an interface made for touch, don't care for apps much and don't want Android then iOS and BB OS are your only options until Microsoft launch devices around xmas time.

If emailing/messaging makes up majority of your time on handsets then you could do well with this phone.

you can continue to use the Android version of Whatsapp. It is hard luck but it would work.

I'm comparing this 400 dollar mobile with my 60 dollar android.
And I feel tottaly ripped off by BlackBerry.
Company's don't support or even launch there apps for this device.
It has the same functionality as a year 2000 mobile the phone works fine but that's about it..
Security is the same as any other device although they claim it to be better I can't notice it.
Buy a pre smart phone, phone and you'll have all the same functions.
I don't care what you do to my post..dont believe me try it yourself.
Your money wasted an I warned you.
Buy a 60 dollar android and you'll have a better phone
laughing at the fact BlackBerry still tries to sell this phone.
it realy is that bad...shame for a 2014 phone.
Someone gonna read it any way...

Well I went from Blackberry 9900 to Blackberry Z30 and now a Blackberry Passport Black. Each is getting better as instead of carrying a cell phone and a tablet all I carry now is my Blackberry Passport . The speaker us loud and the phone is clear. For better or worse Hillary Clinton uses a Blackberry phones for the Blackberry security is second to none.

                              Hey Guys,

Does anyone who installed google playstore on their device know how to completely uninstall android apps from the phone. There are some apps that still remain on the system even though the icon has disappeared. Thanks for your help
