Hello Folks,
Just recently got my blackberry Passport. It's my first blackberry and I love it unless I got to know it doesn't support VoLTE?
I'm using 4G JIO (reliance) sim and I'm able to use Data services but NO voice Calls. Can anybody PLEASE tell me if there is some Voice app which will help me or it's the hardware issue and won't ever support VoLTE...!!!
Reply will be appreciated :) Thanks!!!

This is a phone for those who enjoy using a physical keyboard & like to standout in the crowd with a unique looking handset. Phone is built sturdy, has great battery life, clear audio & immediately catches eye with it's unique design. But the real let down is BB10 OS, which is just not as functional as android.Even the camera performance is not worth mentioning but it does the job. An android based Passport with a better camera will be a great combination.

Devin, 10 Sep 2016I'm not sure why there are complaints about the passport re... moreWake up and smell the coffee, the game is over and the Blackberry OS is Dead as of 2017.
You're living in denial, the phone do have a rebooting problem.
My unit keep rebooting five times in the first day that I got it.
The next problem is that the phone couldn't read my sim card, the phone couldn't connect to my Bluetooth, NFC was a also a problem for the phone.
Blackberry rush the phone to the market.

I only hope BlackBerry continues as a serious business device for those who want it. I've hunted the maarketplace and there's no manufacturer which comes close to it. If smartphones all becoming lookalike pretty shiny toys is the future, you can forget it as far as I'm concerned....

Probably the best phone i had ( except for the camera) , been using it for 1.5 yrs now ....however with their apps ecosystem crumbling ( even Amazon apps now stopped ) its game over .
I wish Blackberry could come up with allowing existing BB10 users to upgrade to Android !
too bad ...will be the last time Blackberry gets my money again ! adios BB

Purchase Blackberry Passport unlocked 4 mos. ago & it has been a disaster ... phone cannot hold bluetooth connection to Plantronics headset, it has trouble staying connected to my network, I cannot use it on the 26th floor of a bldg. in downtown Vancouver (yes, by the window), the contacts do not update of stay synced ... let me count the ways I hate this piece of junk ... I have had cell phones since the Motorola 'brick' and this is the worst one I have ever owned ... getting rid of it today and buying a Samsung ... strongly advise: Do Not Purchase!

I'm not sure why there are complaints about the passport rebooting. I don't think I can recall the phone ever rebooting. Maybe once, perhaps. I've had the silver edition since Jan/Feb of this year(2016). Brilliant phone, especially when you consider how easy it is to sideload the google play store on your phone and have complete access to all apps.
It's unfortunate that Whatsapp will no longer support blackberry OS as of Dec 31st of this year. I'm a little ticked off about that because I spent so much money to buy this phone. Hopefully there will be a resolution. I know there's an online petition to keep whatsapp services on BB OS.
Anyway, apart from the size(it's a big, wide, heavy phone), I really don't have many complaints. It's lightning fast, downloads everything quickly, loads everything quickly, browser is great, watching videos or movies are a breeze. The netflix app from the google play store works seamlessly. Audio is phenomenal, these speakers boom. Of course call quality/reception is excellent.
Physical keyboard does take some time to get used to, even if you've used one before. It's wider, and only three rows. I loved the touch keyboard on my Z10. I'd say that I actually type considerably faster on my Z10 touch keyboard than my passport. The physical keyboard is very intuitive though, and there are many nifty tricks you can learn to expedite your typing process. The fact that the physical keyboard has the ability to scroll up and down is a great feature as well.
Super phone, extremely fast and powerful. Good cameras as well, rear and front. It's just a little too wide and heavy, but I'm somewhat accustomed to it now.
