I am using passport silver edition it's a beautiful device to work with every thing is elegant in this device. I don't know about the sale of this device but I found this baby quite useful.

I have a BB Passport. Best phone to organize your emails and messages compared to all the phones I have used. Long battery life, I can use it for one and a half day with out charging with 4G on. Screen brightness is great. I have the screen brightness approx. 45% and I don't have to change it even if I am using my phone in sun light. Speed to open and app and to download is great. Picture quality is not so great. don't even try to use the camera in low light. overall I love this phone.

Have the Passport SE and this is one serious productivity phone. Full metal frame that just looks and fells good in the hand. A definition head turner and conversation piece!. The HUB is so efficient that helps me control and manage 5 email accounts and 4 social media apps. From the HUB all this managed so effectively. The keyboard being tactil is just incredible and works so great. The sound is just so powerful and amazing that it surprises all. A serious phone for serious business. Ps the screen is amazingly clear.

The only inconvenience I assumed between a detachable battery and non-detachable battery is a technician would have to get inside the 'phone to fix a new one. Batteries are only electronic components like everything else inside.
This is an interesting subject as makers have not been using non-removable batteries for very long as standard.
Let's have an update on if you can resolve your problem. I know service issues can be very different in different countries.

Today is Friday, 19 Feb 2016. I have only used Blackberry smartphones since I began using smartphones. So, I generally like Blackberry smartphones. I have had the BB Passport (SQW100-1) running the BB10 (Software Release: 10.3.2.2836) for just over a year now and I am very disappointed. I recently performed the OS update but my issues began well before that.
First, the phone started rebooting itself once in a while after about 8 months of use. I noticed it happened more frequently when I've been on a WhatsApp call for over 20 mins. At other times, it just reboots when no app is open. That's the first problem.
Then, there is the overheating issue which happens mostly when charging the phone. Since I live in a tropical country, I definitely use the phone outdoors on occasion. Once I go outside, it can't handle the heat. The phone gets quite hot, the battery runs down so quickly, and soon I have no phone to use.
The non-removable battery has also been a source of stress for me. Just a few weeks ago it started lasting shorter and shorter periods. Now, the battery shockingly goes from 65% to 0% and the phone shuts off. It's practically useless. I looked at the in-built BlackBerry Virtual Expert (BBVE) recently to see that the battery health indicator is dark orange and going toward red, which is the worst health state for the battery.
I have always had a habit of protecting all my smartphones with a case. In fact, I always purchase the case for the phone prior to getting the phone. So, I have an AMZER silicone case for my phone since before I bought the phone. I noticed two days ago that the right bottom corner of the screen just above the top right corner of the keyboard has begun delaminating from the chassis of the phone. I am a very careful guy. So, I don't know why this is happening.
So, I guess what I'm saying is that I will be much less likely -- probably impossible to persuade -- to purchase a phone with a non-removable battery. I strongly believe that most of the issues are related to the battery's health. I also think that the OS date has something to do with some of them as well, but I can't be perfectly certain.
Finally, for a phone I had such high regards for, I am thoroughly disappointed that BlackBerry in their infinite wisdom did not produce OEM replacement batteries for these so-called premium phones. If I get no luck trying to get help from BlackBerry customer service, which so far I haven't, I will definitely be done with BlackBerry smartphones. Clearly, BlackBerry has shown a disregard for the average mobile user in the fact that they seem to be all focused on the so-called diehard fans and serious no-fun-loving users. Unfortunately, they have begun to alienate the diehard fans like myself and suddenly the future isn't looking so bright.

I love blackberry very much but some applications that I am usually using with other brands are not available with blackberry. I hope blackberry will include official FB messenger, banco posta mobile applications in their apps store.

I like blackberry but a lot of applications like facebook messenger, viber, etc.. that are usually available free on android and apple store are not available with blackberry world (blackberry store). That I why instead of buying blackberry we decided to buy other mobile celphone brands that we can enjoy using it.

I wanna buy Blackberry Passport however I got some doubts about this phone.
Does this phone possess 4K video recording ability?
Is it true that after BB OS 10.3.1 update it got the ability to record 4K video?

I had apple and Samsung , I spend handsome money to get flagship mobiles of both companies, Every time it hurt me that everyone have these.it was painful for me. I decided to get something unique here in Pakistan, I got Passport silver edition, NO ONE HAVE THIS HERE...... OMG..i shocked to see the device. What a extreme quality oriented mobile this is. I never expected such a beautiful piece of technology.BB 10 operating system, BB Hub, its just amazing. Good Bye Apple and Samsung, Most welcome to Blackberry...At least I got made in Mexico device, Good Bye to chines made devices. By the way to enjoy android I got HTC. Its extremely good compatibility of HTC sense with lollipop. Its made in Taiwan ,means thousand times better than china made.

BlackBerry need to come up with a strong statement about BlackBerry 10 os. The rumor mill is surely turning prospective buyers away from BlackBerry 10 devices. I own BlackBerry Passport and happy with its performance but since BlackBerry 10 future looks bleak, really confused whether to keep it or sell it.
