I am a BB passport user and the phone is working and delivering based on my professional and personal requirement (wifi, emails, sms, office files, etc). So far, i have an all plus+ feedback for this unit.

Sum_paul, 04 Aug 2015Is it true that BB passport has a problem in connecting to ... moreNot only BB Passport,all BB phones have a problem with WIfi connection.Everything is ok but only Wifi is huge problem for BB phones.I have 2 BB phones and because of their Wifi connection problems my nerves are totally upset.I want to throw them from 9th floor of my house.1 minute connection and again disconnection,non-stop always like that.My wife even in the garage can catch Wifi router signal with her cheap chinese phone but my 2 BB (9720 & Q5) in front of router can't.When catch as i told after a minute again disconnection.If you don't need Wifi,you can buy BB.But if you need Wifi,then you'll be exactly in my situation later

Supervai, 04 Aug 2015I used a BlackBerry 9810, z10, and I have brought both the ... moreIt is a fault of BB phones. Because near two phones,one connects very well and holding,BB connects with great difficulty and disconnects after a minute of use.And this procuders repeats always,there is no regular wifi connection of BB phones.Maximum a minute of use and disconnection.Again to connect,you have to wait a few minutes.Then 1 minute of connection and again disconnection.All nerves are demolished because of BB phones Wifi disease

I used a BlackBerry 9810, z10, and I have brought both the phones to overseas and local and all wifi lock so fast. If u don't get locked to a wifi, chances are there is no IP or even no more bandwidth available. Even my friend who does IT does not know how to connect his laptop to wifi and people will have to assist him. So at the end of the day, know what is the problem before saying it's BlackBerry or iPhone or Android fault or other people fault.

Shogun, 03 Aug 2015Sure You are not layer and You love the BB phones,so why Yo... moreYou can't love BB more than me.I hate iphones and all android phones but that is a real fact that BB phones have no Wifi connection at all.How can you dare to lie in front of everyone.Because all BB owners can confirm me easily.Even now i have 2 BB (Q5 & 9720) but when subject is Wifi,i am so ashamed among others.Both reboot themselves at least 5-6 times a day.I use them that is why i know.
It is my desire to find a BB phone with normal Wifi connection because i can't use other phones,i got used to BB so much

For those who need too reset your BB with phisical keyboard you only have to press at the same time and hold it for 5 secs "Alt key" on the right of keyboard "Enter key" and "Left Shift key" on the left of keyboard. So there's no need to remove the battery.

I am ashamed among friends when their phones catch and hold Wifi easily but my both BB phones can't.I am always asking in the restaurants where wifi available,the place of router to seat near as much as possible,but also catch sometimes,rearly and disconnect after a few minutes.
Both phones i took to the several services for several times and always answer to me from the masters were like that: Oh,BB? Sorry,no solutionI Work with 3G or 4G.I say,why,i want to work with Wifi.They say,we are sorry but BB phones all like that,they can't catch or hold Wifi router signals.Better to change your mobile.
Tat is why i am asking are Z10,Q10 or Passport also same sickness?
This is a fact that i have now even not 1 but 2 BB phones but both Wifi connection suck

This is a general sickness of Blackberry company.
Others,even cheapest chinese phones catch and hold WIfi from long distance but BB phones even near can't.Sometimes when they catch,after a few minutes disconnect.This is for near distance to WIFI modem.If 2-3 meters away from WIFI modem,no connection.
Is it true for Q10 also? I think if you are not near to WIFI modem about 1 meter or less,Q10 can't catch and hold WIFI signal,after 1 meter from modem,no connection""

You don"t have WI FI and radio signal bcs You don"t know how to switch on the Phone,read some posts here and get some education,but in Your case it"s going to be really difficult.No Men can learn the topic if he hate it.

I have 2 BB models,i so much love BB phones but they have no WIFI connection.At our home,my wife's chinese phone catchs and holds WIFI even in the street,in front of our house,from 20-25 meters away but my 2 BB phones,in the house,near WIFI router,can't.THis is a real fact which happens in front of my eyes,you shit shogun,blaming me and lieing now that your Z10 has no Wifi connection problems? NO,you lie,i swear,your Z10 catchs and holds WIFI if you just 1 meter near the router after 1 meter,your z10 can't catch and hold signal.I know tens of BB owners,all complaining about WIFI connection of BB phones.Just compare your Z10 or Q10 with any cheapest chinese phone.That phone from far away will catch WIFI signal but your Z10 or Q10 will suck

my passport is the beast no problem at all, wifi, lags, data connection, batt life, etc... my biggest concern is hope bb dosent drop the bb10 os and more update with it.. loving my passport...

We all know ... moreThis Director jumps from forum to forum and with out of having or using BB phone makes statements.BB phones have the best WI FI and radio reception and new phones are not exception.I used Z10 during one year and last 6 months use Q10 and can confirm-BOTH have no problem with WI FI connection or Radio reception,I always have good reception when the other brands are dead,use WI FI with no problem as at home as at public place.

ebi, 01 Aug 2015Yes, bb mobiles are very poor in wifi conection... i hv 2 ... moreI also have 2 models,both are very poor in Wifi connection.Cheap chinese phones arround me catch Wifi even if they are far from Wifi modem but i when even near to Wifi,can't.
It is nigthmare for BB.
What models of BB you have?
Mines are 9720 & Q10
