I am using Passport for nearly half a year. Since I updated to 10.3.1.1779 I have no issues whatsoever. I used IPhone then Galaxy 3 and 4, tried Windows phone for a month. If you are not looking to play games all day long or watch ytube videos but rather use it for real work, there is nothing that comes even close to the Passport. It is the best business phone at the moment that money can buy

While admitting Leap a bit underwhelming Passport is a different kind of beast. Where it seems mid-range when it comes to specifications, it beats the competition with unparalleled, yet clever difference in features. Agree that one plus one might seem to value for money till take a look at the user reviews. It is virtually indistinguishable in functions and form from myriad of other droid phones, come with same benefits and faults. Whereas Passport is a totally different and refreshingly fresh take to the whole smartphone experience, with strong leaning on the professional side of the user base. Passport may not sell to to a customer base who mostly looking at a smartphone as a media consumption tool. At the same time it is a respite for the person who wants to organize his/her busy day and to become more productive.

As for your Storm9550 battery, have you checked the availability online?

Phones with 3GB Ram & Internal Memory 64gb is what is expected at the price of latest leap will only make capture better markets in India. One plus one is one phone to my mind with solid technology.
I wish blackberry markets well with larger share & lower profitability in India, which is a highly price conscious & sensitive market.
Further, there is a reduction of Service Centres from two to one only in a largest populated city of India,Kolkata where I stay.
Increase your service centers with better availability of Spares.
My Storm9550 II is now in peak condition & am unable to use because the battery is no more available because of being outdated model in the eyes of your service center at Beckbagan,Kolkata

However, Google Maps is available on Blackberry, and BB10 is somewhat Android compatible (the Amazon App store is preinstalled), so between that and the native BlackBerry store you should find new apps for everything you need.

                            Hello guys,

I am avid user for the past 5 years.I currently possess 7.1 OS 9860 torch 2, which i brought 2 years. I had to upgrade to 10.3.1 awesome blackberry z3. I am planning to buy passport, with all the flagship specs, and awesome performance, as i heard from all my friends who are using PP. I was just now looking for comparisions against this awesome device, against mediocre iphone 6 plus, which is rated by this same platform as 5, whereas PP is rated above 8. So all you people who dont know shit about technology, and apple shitty devices, get some education, and if not then, you can't complain about the things you possibly ever have the know-how about mind-blowing Blackberry devices. I am one of the biggest followers of all things Blackberry.
                            Thanks
                            Sam

BlackBerry 10 platform's differences offers a bit of challenge, still it gives a hint of familiarity. If I may use an analogy, it is like driving a different car in a country where you must use the wrong side of the road! There are certain aspects when BlackBerry Passport excels. But it also might not be suitable for certain other tasks. At the end everything boils down to what we need to do with a smartphone.

Especially for design work where a lot of processing power is required, not to mention bigger displays. However I think the utility of tablets are overrated. BlackBerry Passport could be the first step towards a right direction. Yet, the entire concept and implementation of such a phone is simply brilliant - apps gap notwithstanding.

I Had been hesitant about Buying this, as it costs a hefty buck. when i finally made my Mind and went on with it. I could easily say i have made very good Choice on selecting the Smartphone which IMO just got my eyes fixed on it the moment i saw it. I surely had questions, if i could adapt to a change (Still an iOS user), But trust me it has been one satisfying and overwhelming experience.

Aesthetics - Its rather well built to say anything.
Processing - It is Software and The Keyboard that takes the Center stage.
Camera - Good if not Great. ( Could have been Better )
Sound - Great ( But Has its cons )
Screen - Put in to use to best effort.
Keyboard - IMO 3 line Keyboard is more practical if not logical.
Media - You know what you are getting, no point Complaining about it
App Environment - Its good (some apps are missed, But mostly covered)

This is by far my experience with the BB Passport.
