MA, 25 Apr 2015My Passport is having heating problem on top of handset. Ca... moreHeating problem caused by several things, it always can not be because of device. Eg : number of applications you open, if acessing Internet and signal is low, you may be at area where network is low, badly developed android app eats up more CPU, I would suggest below below apps that may help to maintain BlackBerry devices. Cleaner, Task killer,apps from BlackBerry World, CCLEANER, 360 security ( I think it's good app but it creates some problem with BlackBerry devices but I am not sure about this please check it out yourselves) from android

A phone could drain battery quickly & overheat when there is constant background activity e.g constantly searching for a good network signal, if your area of network coverage is bad. Try adjusting your mobile network settings. I set mine like this because I have 4G where I live. So if you don't have a good 4G then advice you leave it at 3G 2G. If this doesn't work, try software update (for a new update) or 'reload software' using the blackberry link pc app (for a fresh re-install of the current software OS) after you may have connected your phone to the pc. In the case of the later two fixes, don't restore phone system settings via the BlackBerry link when restoring media & apps if need be, just input your phone settings manually. A backed up Phone system setting (from a previously different device/model e.g z10) restored unto a different device/model(e.g q10) could cause bugs or problems for the it. Hope this info helps.

I bought blackberry passport handset on 10.12.2014 from Delhi BEECHAMS, found manufacturing defects in camera, after lot of persuasion service centre address was provided by dealer,. Handset was given to service centgre BB Expert Center Nehru Place, Delhi on 14.04.2015 with expected return date on 17.04.2015, but not returned till today on 25.04.2015. No response they are giving.
Company website has no address, phone or email address.
A phone with manufacturing defect has to be changed instantly.
I decided to file case against them in Court. also decided will not buy any blackberry products in future.
They don't provide services at all and not replace defective handset. They dont have their service centre, outsource to HCL.
I recommend not to buy blackberry.

Its the whole new innovation in mobile devices, physical keyboard that also acts as a trackpad and u can scroll through pages easily, u don't always need to touch the big beautiful sharper screen and is smudge free than other devices like iphone or any android devices, u will miss the charger because it lasts damn long, u will need to work hard to drain its battery, u don't need to charge it every two or three hour like iphones or android, if u like fingerprint unlocking forget it because without it its lot safer.

i think, blackberry should buy the here map, mapping service from Nokia, blackberry maps is kinda mediacore at the moment

Its the best phone ever i absouloutley love it in my openion blackberry can rise again if they made more media and buy that i mean adding a descent store that has all the apps and games available on the other stores and more payment options for the purchases such as redeemable codes by doing that blackberry will be the best again and in my openion the passport is a flawless device

Nokia N8 > Nokia 808 > BB Z10 (STL100-2) > BB Passport.
BlackBerry my the new line! Very expensive, slightly punctured (10.3.1.1779)example: lost notifications on lock screen etc, but but enjoyable OS. Very fast boot, but i not turn it off. Elegant quick form and management. No mass. Not teen mobile phone. Not available for mobile operators! Greetings from Hungary!
