I have had every cell phone out there and believe me, I do not regret purchasing the BlackBerry Passport at all. I thought it would be difficult to adjust to the large keyboard and the awkward looking shape. Honestly, I quickly adapted to the phone and I am very impressed with its performance and it's amazing keyboard. The battery life is GREAT.

You can get android app from amazon, icon available on blackberry OS plus you can download from SNAP ( check crackberry) or one more thing you can get those application. Apk files on passport and just run from filemanager

As I read in the first page of the reviews, BB does not run on Android OS. You do not seem to have done enough reading before the purchase. BB runs on a narrow bandwidth in terms of consumer satisfaction and in their areas of promises, they still deliver. BB is essentially conceived of as a business tool with reasonable scope for entertainment. Not beyond like an iPhone. You need to adopt this seemingly alien OS.

Recently brought Blackberry Passport but unable to load OLA CAB APP, GOOGLE MAPS, MERU CAB APPS. Even i tried with cobalt method to install the goole play services, but nothing worked. Without these apps these instrument is useless.
Can some body please let me know how do do it.

Even though BlackBerry 10 can run android, it is not android. Obviously there could be some issues that goes away when you update the OS. This is the same case as any smartphone where you encounter bugs. Moreover a lot of information available in crackberry.com about a lot of issues.
Merely writing 'complaints' does not change anything. Sometimes we have to put some effort too.

Something strange is going on with my BB Passport. When I use it off-line just to check mails with wifi battery is doing OK (3-4 days), but when I switch it on-line battery dies in 5-6 hours. What's wrong? Software, antennas? Any suggestions?

This smart phone is just a waste of big amount. I bought this for 49.5k and within two months the device starts getting heating. For first one month the battery lasted for 8 hrs but it was draining within 4 hours. I stopped using internet, I enabled the power mode and disabled GPS, location etc etc. Simple calling was ON the device gets hot after 5 minutes of continues talk. I took it to the customer care unit (Janak Puri – district center new delhi), but the attitude and the service was so pathetic. They asked me to drop the phone for 15 days‼. They even asked me not to talk for long and it is normal with the phone to heat up while talking. I was surprised and shocked to hear that. After spending 50k, this is what you are getting. I wish any blackberry official read this and call back because I do not find any contact no or email id to lodge this complaint

The best smartphone I've used in the last 10 years so far... All is good, battery life, processor speed, screen clarity, touch response, keyboard feedback ... ALL IS GREAT with this masterpiece.

I have been using BlackBerry for 3 years Bold 9780 but I have to pay BBM service charges to Mobile company so in passport also be have to pay or any data plan can work like Android phones? Please reply me
