I have owned many Blackberry devices going back to my corporate days when everyone was required to have a BB due to communications features and security not available on other devices of the day. This is the best Blackberry yet. Take a week or two to get accustomed to the form factor and keyboard and you will find:

* Terrific screen, great in bright sunlight
* Excellent compatibility, with few exceptions, of Android apps.
* Terrific speaker and room filling speakerphone.
* Excellent phone reception/ quality
* Fast, smooth, and easy to master O.S. with Blackberry 10- likely the most underrated OS out there.

great phone, great screen!
4.5 in screen makes it 0.2 in less than iPhone6; that is 5mm for metric system users. that is the difference of the video played on Passport compared to video played on iPhone6! yet, everyone raves about iPhone! strange!
iPhones have never had detachable batter, neither Samsung, yet everyone keeps saying that is shortcoming of new line Blackberries! Strange!
think, then jump! to conclusions!
the easiest is hitting someone when one is down!
greatly improved OS, wonderfully built device, deserves more than just a chance!
seems like everyone thinks of daft gaming on daft phones! hopefully there are people who use these devices for something else but gaming and watching videos!
hopefully there are still people in english speaking world who can spell, too!

Blackberry has not been looked so desperate after John Chen announced the failure of z10 because of lack of apps and its not their fault because as example Instagram it's available for all device expect bb os blackberry has created the best os and best hardware but because of applications bb smartphone went to grave ... Hope they keep making smartphone like this

I hope this review keeps going. I also hope companies like BlackBerry have the backbone to produce innovative devices. It's sad to see most smartphones in use all look exactly the same in 2015. Only the brand and price are different.
Let's see more things which can excite us instead of cold-blooded "copycats.

You know 007, blackberry has one unique thing that you won't get it in any mobile " security" which is lacking in android and ios phone. By the way you buy BlackBerry phone once, I assured you will not touch any other make. I told one incident my 13 years old sone gone oppo store and found owner using blackberry, so he asked uncle why are you using blackberry his answer was, son this is only phone which lasts long...

None of existing smartphones don't have such function build in system. You can do everything during phone calls, video calls. What's more video calls are available for everyone. You can use skype or LINE (i think).
BBM is developing video calls for other platforms, u have right to slow. I agree.
Well BB but android implementation for reducing that lack of apps. However I have every app that i need. I use just 3 android apps, most of them work fluently and fine. Of course gaming on square screen is stupid idea but Q10, Classic and Passport are made for work, communicating, social things. BTW I'm using Q10 now and it's incredible handy phone for social usage and work. Of course many people use a phone mainly as entertainment so they can't use to that type phone.

Qudus to BlackBerry for producing a brilliant, and unique phone. This my BlackBerry Passport is no doubt, the very best smartphones till today.

This is the best phone I ever had. I love to know that my phone battery life could last for 2 days and that is true.
Screen display is crisp, no lag at all in every condition.
The keyboard is very amazing.
One thing that I love the most is that I can install android apps and blackberry apps in one device

This is a BEAST. Probably true to the meaning of a smartphone. After using it extensively for a month now, i can safely say this is one of the best device i ve used till date ( and i have used a lot of them ).
Amazing performance , amazing battery life ... could be a less bulky but overall a great comeback by BlackBerry.
