First, Only GPU is not responsible for high end gaming. If u put best GPU in nokia symbian phones then it will work NO. You need best and compatible operating system alongside. Blackberry 10 operating system is not as powerful and not capable of handling the high end 3D games.

Second, Besides GPU there is something called CPU. Most of the blackberry mobile are just Dual core besides Passport.
You know in Android even a Cheap mobiles are QUAD CORE. We all know that Quad core are best then Dual core.Now octa core processor are using in android. Does they available in Blackberry No.

Third, for best gaming experience you need big and FULL HD screen. Does any blackberry phone have a FULL HD screen NO. In Android there are ULTRA HD Resolutions. Blackberry is far behind now.

In android there are DOLBY, DTH, BOOM sound system in many high ending device. Does blackberry have No.

In market there are joystick,playstation controller are available to play games for Android. Does they available for blackberry No.

You go Android play store you will get thousand millions High ending mobile games. All those are available in blackberry just few. you can count on in ur finger.

Top Gaming companies are not interested in developing the games for blackberry because blackberry is only for office work not for entertainment. In small screen with half area is covered with physical keyboard then how can anybody enjoy and play the game.
and Last, only 1% users are for blackberry so there is no profit for companies to create a APP or games.

Hi everyone. I am using blackberry since Last four years. Alongside i have also used nokia 808,nokia E61,E71, E72 and Sony xperia ion. Every phone has its merits. But to those who have not used Blackberry and write against it, i will say either they are ignorant about its great features or they are paid to write such remarks.For serious users, there is nothing like blackberry addressbook. No application on android or in apple iseven 1% as good as this app. Firt try and then say something. Thanks Blackberry.

Here is another homework for you. Find out what is GPU (no shame. Go ahead and search google). Then check what is the GPU in BlackBerry Z30 and Passport.

As many stated,you have not seen a BlackBerry 10 device, let alone a Passport. BlackBerry is the most capable of playing games, even though it is not the primary function. BlackBerry Z3 and Q5 are the only device with 'just' 1.5 GB of memory. Z10 and Z30 has got 2 GB memory and Passport has got 3 GB of memory. Combine that with Adreno 320 GPU and Adreno 330 GPU in Passport. BlackBerry 10 devices handle any graphic related task with aplomb -that includes games. Blackberry is the ultimately perfect complete device.

BlackBerry knows the tunes and can do all the stpes.

If you check Z3 forum, you will know how good the game performance is. So your ' jerky environment' is full of it. A lot of 'Big companies'

Your statement 'only for emailing and office work' is ignorant. Google is a great company, with a lot of products. Use their search engine to gain more knowledge. Take a break from games once in a while. A big, nasty, beautiful real world out there.

Play these games in Android top level device you will come to know the difference. Blackberry is not capable to handle such kind of games but u can play in your jerky environment. It is the same experience playing with blackberry or playing in android lower device with 512 MB RAM. But if u want to get full gaming experience go for Android TOP DEVICE. That is why Big companies first release the high end games only for Androids.
Blackberry is the device only for emailing and office work. This is not complete device. There are very few 3d games which are optimize for such kind of device. You can easily compare going to blackberry stores and Android market where the actual high ending games are reside.
So educate urself. The company who created the ANDROID also created the GOOGLE. use of it.

On the other hand, you are partially correct. Not everyone can afford to send that kind of money because not everyone is in the target user group of BlackBerry passport. Whoever need that kind of firepower , they buy a BlackBerry Passport. Those who only need to play candy crush, opt for other cheaper phones.

Instead of using high and top hardware Androids are cheap and for everyone. This is the beauty of Google Android OS.

Here is the matter. When you compare , just see on similar hardware how both android and BlackBerry 10 performs.The optimization done for BlackBerry 10 outperforms any version of android IF same hardware is used - with the addition of unbreakable SECURITY.

To reach the performance levels of BlackBerry 10, the android needs the most higher end hardware ( in the present scenario). Only Apple can match that level of sophisticated optimization. Maybe in future Jolla too come in that level.

Lesser specification, optimized OS, lesser energy requirement.

You can do a google search with keywords "Blackberry Z10 + Neutron Music Player = excellent Sound Quality .please share your impression and Appreciation Here" to know how audio quality in BlackBerry Z10. This is from head-fi.org. BlackBerry Z30 is even better that that.

That means BlackBerry 'yes where' in competetion. Though I don't say MODERN BlackBerry phones are not 'sole' multimedia tool - they are business + security + multimedia tools.

Nothing wrong with android being cheap. Heck, they are very good to play games and other uses .Remember, here the stress is on 'cheap'. But they are not good apart from price. On the flipside, android is the reason so many lower income people have access to mobility.Good for common, basic tasks.

But for professionals who value the communication and data security, nothing ever can beat BlackBerry. Full stop.
