AnonD-338219, 04 Dec 2014U can use it only for free messaging voip not working Are you sure about this? Perhaps you're confused with bb7. I have Z30 which is a lower spec than passport but can call on viber. If you're not satisfied with BlackBerry version can download from Google apps too.

We are conditioned to see things in fixed ways, and it takes effort to see differently. I use a Passport exclusively, and I can find no fault. Change attitudes to things, then innovative companies like BlackBerry can be even MORE inventive.

1. Groundbreaking design, fits in one hands of most humans except people with very small hands.
2. Physical keys are best for ERROR FREE typing. Numerical keys are easy to select from the virtual keyboard, with just a little practise. Everyone who wants to type without error needs physical keys in modern era.
3. Wider screen that makes reading and writing documents much easier - as easy as a computer. Try that in virtual keyboard.
4. The price is justifiable for the abundance of features - ease of use, security and stability of the OS. Less TCO.
5. Since Rambo does not even seen BlackBerry OS, that statement is false. BlackBerry OS is a very stable OS.
6. A lot of productivity apps are bundled in OS. Of course, the most of the productivity suits and applications does not come free in any platform.
7. A lot of people use BlackBerry phones in business. So just guess talk.
8. People who look for a productivity tool definitely will buy BlackBerry - if at all the original buyer sells the phone in the first place. (TIP - don't buy a BlackBerry Passport to play games alone.)
9. BlackBerry phones are business phones because HOW the tasks are performed. The difference is that BlackBerry passport is a race care and a lot other phones are taxis. Well, both have their uses though.
10. One of the biggest battery, optimized for the hardware. No need to keep hugging walls to charge your phone. Oh, replacing batter is not an impossible or herculean task!
11. This is a professional phone. For camera buy a Nokia 1020. For games buy anything else. That is why.
12. Only true statement in the comment. But look of a BlackBerry is unique. A BlackBerry is NOT one in many, especially a passport.

This is worse phone ever how-

2-physical key.Number physical keys are not in device. who wants physical keys now in modern era.
3-small screen just 4.5. In android there are choice of different screen sizes
4-very costly.
5-Operating system is full of bugs.
6.App for bb are mostly paid or not availables
7.Very few people used BB now a days. Only 1%.
8.No buyer after 5-6 months if u want to sale it.
9-BB says this is business phone now a days Apple Android all r business phones. you can browse,chat email send data what else u want.
10- Non removable battery. If u get problem in battery then ur so so costyly phone gone.
11-This is not a camera phone or gaming device why??
12-Look wise not good this could be personal.

The keypad button not convinence to use, need press harder. I think TOUCH SCREEN more practical & friendly use.

Over a period of time there are so many phone are released up to iPhone 6 and note 4 , that was the latest and last updated smart ever phone by Apple iPhone and Samsung Mobile . But you all will agree with me that some of the things you must missing in each and every time in all phones .
But blackberry has made the ever smart phone that makes sense to all kind of work and happy to all customers . In terms of look , performance , OS , RAM , camera , storage , processor , display , batory etc ... It's genuine genius and world's first upgradable complete phone . You can replace your laptop with this phone . You can also show off with this and you can bit iPhone 6 and note 4 . And you believe that this is the fastest phone than iPhone 6 and note 4 and htc one m8 . This is the best phone that you not need to change up to min 5 years and also 7 years . Because blackberry os never hang , this phone never hit up , the os also upgradable by the company . And company service centre available across the country .
The most important thing is that the blackberry passport or other blackberry phone is the most secure phone , it will never hack by the cyber criminal . The blackberry os is made on top secret methods which is used by the NASA and other American secret agency , not even ios and android . So the people who are looking for trusted brand to get worth things go for blackberry passport . Don't worry and focus on negative feedback which is shown on gsmarena and other site , because that people may be in opposition of the company . This brand is a premium and classic .
My friend I am user of Samsung galaxy note 2 and I have not seen any problems since last 2 years but when I have seen blackberry passport with it's sexy lather black cover and check it's performance and also compare with iPhone 6 and note 4 at CROMA showroom at ahmedabad (India) I decided to purchase it . This feedback given on the basis of practical demonstration done by the expert at the showroom .

Well guys who are thinking of buying a blackberry , and I have been doing a lot of research and went through number of DEmos as well....
1. Unlike iphone 6 , you feel the grip of the phone and get a good feeling of weight , its not bulky but something nice to hold...at times all other phones like ihone 6 or htc etc...look like toys...
2,. The demo guy in front of me just flicked the BB passport and nothing happened...
3. And then using BOX, he could simulate the screen and hence the work of your device on other device
( not seen else where...so you can undertake a training session with simualtion of your scree on other device...
4. Te physical key board can work as numeric also much to my surprise as not mentioned in any of the reviews
5. The BB hub is just too good, with a single key you can respond to any of the message unlike other phones where you require multiple tabs to respond.
6. Amazing multi tasking, you dont see it on I phone 6 , you will need to scroll through multiple screens and halt at the screen you wish to work on, while on Black berry, on the screen you can run the live base ball show slate/window, stock market slate/gmail , weather screen and lets say a presntation. all will be concurrently running and you can expand any one with a touch...work on the same and with single touch come to first screen and swithch to other slate say weather and you will find it would be updated.
I could find multi tasking to this extent only on Lumia 930...howevr the number of stepsit took and come back, I think were higher...
7. I think people are judging it by its square shape, BUT I FEEL THAT IS HOW ALL PHONES SHOULD BE DESIGNED AND THAT IS A NATURAL DESIGN.
We have been so badly conditioned by the looks of the first phones like iphone 6 etc that WE FAIL TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT it is more of psychlogical mass conditioning of mind that is making us look at Passport as the "odd man out" RATHER THAN BASIC CORRECTION OF DESIGN FOR phones how they need to be.
8. For those who think it is difficult to hold it with one hand, the phone is designed for usage with both phones.
9. Again the phone is incorrectly positioned as productivity device as it is a great phone of the future and serves other purposes other than productivity purposes. You could do Video chat on BBM with near ones.
10. Voice chat on BBM is internationally free and that is a great saving.
This is ONE PHONE THAT IS GENERATIONS AHEAD.....
The only worry is what if BB is sold off...

Great device,really fast and stable. have it for over a month now and didn't crash on me once. It's feels al lil bit akward to hold at first but thats just something to get used to. Held my previous phone the xperia T last week and it felt verry small so :p, an other thing is the sound it's amazing, louder than almost anything around ( i guess on parr with the htc m8) and very clear. An other thing is you can have youtube running on the background for example music. Something i thought was worth sharing because of the lack of it in android and ios. And apps it varies at how you look at it, there are lots of substitable apps for things like instagram. And you do got things like fb and whats app, but for me i live in the netherlands there is a serious lack of local apps wereas android and ios are full supported most apps are in development for BlackBerry or not coming at all. although some can be installed via the amazon app store certainly hoping for native apps in the future since some android app tend to be buggy. The battery is a real powerhouse wich gives me one and a half a day( to compare xperia T gave me 7 hours tops) and if you have to type a lot, this is the phone to have at the moment .
