This is a very good basic PDA for users who are mainly focused on business productivity such as emails and such. As far as third-party applications and the "leisure activities" this phone is lacking the interface for that type of interface. Operating system is very basic and easy to use which i think is a very good feature for this device. Speaker works exceptionally well and the reception on this device is what you would expect from a Blackberry. Multimedia features are very lacking, and the operating sytems is sub-par. Overall, I think this is a very good device for the business minded individual, this is not recommended for the multimedia-packed youngsters that need a bunch of features in a phone to make them happy.

Blackberry 8110 Camera and photo quality - bad
Sound - somwhere normal but is good - pass
batery- good - pass
aplication - is loading like the oldest 486 pc - bad
gps - good but without alication on it or offline maps - bad (company maps offline or 3d application)
design - good is for the keyboard and trackball. - pass
In rest you have a phone what is not have ms office or touch screen not video or photo good quality is loading like a crap phone, is cost a lots of money and is not deserving, is have a shetly handset big phones, evrytime when you take out the battery is resseting, you can't view one by one in full scren the photo, not a very util video or photo application.
My opinion for a cost of 70 € is pass, for a good phone with some utility well only for the gps if you have a 3d application with the offline maps and is working good if not pff.
Not worth to buy this model for the price what they have put on it.

natlus, 23 Dec 2008can some let me know please: 1)why i cannot receive files ... moreHi mate. Go to videos -> all videos -> Receive using Bluetooth. Then send some file to that blackberry. It will ask you if you want to accept data transfer. Choose YES and tick "Remember my answer"(or something like that".

2)how i can install applications?
3) while attaching PC media card is not detected whereas other phones media card are detected?
4)while installing desktop manager 4.3, media manager does not appear on the screen when software runs?

all you have to do receive a song or any contant via bluetooth is by;
step 1)enable blue tooth from you perl and enable blue tooth from your other hanset.
Step 2)open Media > song or video or picture > go option > select "Receive file". Then your perl will be searching for the media file( please respond quickly).
Step 3)Send the file from your other hanset to your perl.
Step 4)Accept the file from your perl.
Step 5)Type confermation password
Step 6)file will be received. after receiving the file you have to save in you prefered place.

PLS Help! in the technical specifications of Pearl 8110 says that there is a call record. If you delete one call (or sms) how can you still see the history of that? is there any record list? Is it possible? Many thanks.

Hi I work for an Irish Telecommunications commpany and I have one of these as a personal phone they are a brilliant phone but just for anyone thinking of getting one make sure you charge it every night the battery life is S**T!
